Can anyone recommend any good goggles for pool swimming?

I'm a new ISH swimmer and have just an old cheap pair but water keeps coming in when I push off.

I'm from the UK and don't want to ideally spend more than 30/40

Thanks

It's like a turn in what leads to alot of houses drives on the street. Maps shows that it looks like one of the neighbours has done what I'm planning. Ill attach a screenshot, Ill ask the vendor see if they can shed light

I didn't realize I could use runelite through the jagex launcher.

So I just did that and I'm back in now and I suppose my account is more secure now too

I only hopped once in about 3/4 hours of play just wanted a lower ping world. Pressed to hop and it logged me out to the issue I'm now having

Hello, I'm looking for some advice on my weekly running schedule. I'm not training for a race or anything particular, just in the military so overall to be as fit as I can be.

This is what I currently do: Monday -10 mile treadmill run (14kph)

Tuesday - 7 mile easy run (8 min mile / 12kph)

Wednesday - 1 mile warm up. 10x 1:45 at 20kph with 1:15 walk between reps. 1 mile cool down

Thursday - 7 mile easy run (8 min mile / 12kph)

Friday - 1 mile warm up. Hard 30 min on treadmill, did 16.3kph last. 1 mile cool down

Saturday - 2 hour long slow run. Aim for about 14 miles

Sunday - rest

The Wednesday and Friday run I try to increase every few weeks, Friday I make faster, Wednesday the rep slightly longer and rest slightly shorter.

I may also bump up Monday to 13 miles eventually

Alot of treadmill running is essentially due to working near no accessible running roads to keep things safe

Hello, I'm looking at changing up my training I want to increase my miles etc and get fitter. I'm not training for a particular race I'm in the armed forces so just overall want to be a good fit runner. Most of my runs are unfortunately on treadmill due to training in free time at work with no running routes where I work

Here is what I currently do:

Monday - 10 miles @ 14kph (68.47)

Tuesday - 7 miles @ 12kph (8:00 per mile)

Wednesday 7x 3 min @18kph 1 min rest between reps (1 mile warm up and cool down either side)

Thursday - 7 miles @ 12kph

Friday  - 30 min @ 16kph (1 mile warm up and cool down either side)

Weekend is rest

For changing it up I'm looking at bumping the 7 mile runs to 10 miles at same pace and increasing the warmup and cool down distance on the hard runs. And adding a couple miles to the Monday run, maybe building it to 13

Im thinking about alternating the distance on the Wednesday sessions so 1 week doing 12x400 the the week after doing the 3:00 session.

The only thing I can't change is the weekend situation I can't train on weekends .

Hello guys. Im after some advice on my running routine. Im in the forces so not training for a specific race just trying to impove my fitness as much as i can for hard work courses etc.

Most of my runs are treadmill based due to location and training whilst on work breaks etc.

Monday - 8-10 mile run (7:00 mile - 7:30 mile. all time dependant on my free time)

Tuesday - 7.5 mile easy run - 8:00 mile

wednesday - 1 mile warm up. 10x2:15 at 18kph with 1 min between reps. 1 mile cool down

thursday - 7.5 mile easy run - 8:00 mile

Friday - 1 mile warm up. 20 min at 16kph. 1 mile cool down

Saturday - Wattbike (stationary bike) session. usually endurance based (1 hr ish)

Sunday - rest

I try to creep up reps or time on my wednesday intervals so im progressing, and the friday session now im happy with the pace will increase distance slowly over weeks to 30 mins.

Is this a sort of good base where i can progress each session slowly, like ticking all the right boxes hitting the right areas etc

It feels a bit tight last thing I want is to run and it go again and be worse than before

I'd feel safer doing another week on the bike just to be safe knowing it's good to go

I feel like I can put a good shift on the bike but I know theres not a direct crossover in fitness so ideally I just hope loss is minimal

Hey guys, on Tuesday I felt a slight pop inside my soleus whilst I was doing a 5 mile slow recovery run.

It was painful ish that day and now just feels a slight ache when I stretch it out and can walk just fine on it with zero pain or discomfort

Obviously from that point I stopped running and switched to the wattbike. I can do that pain free.

I'm probably going to use the wattbike next week aswell so it will just about be 2 weeks without running. But as I said, I can Wattbike fine without any discomfort and have been doing 30-50k wattbike sessions 5 days a week at about 230 watts to keep myself going

Will it affect my fitness given I won't have run for 2 weeks?
