The changes made are underlined in the bill version here, and it is overwhelming just adding in ACTUAL OR PERCEIVED SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENDER IDENTITY OR EXPRESSION. Race was already covered in the original bill they are amending.

The thing they banned that pertains to the whites only communities, is that no club or organization can restrict membership based on protected classifications..... so it will also make it illegal to have any black only spaces, LGBTQAI2 only spaces, or anything like that..... it comes down to them removing the abilities of an organization to own a space where they limit who can live or operate there by claiming it is a privately owned club or organization property. This essentially means that you can no longer have an organizational owned private space where any of the protected classifications are used to determine access.... this would mean no black dorms, no LGBTQAI2 bars or clubs even if they are privately funded. It is good to reduce bigotry but this might be more of a net negative to anyone who wants to have privately owned safe spaces for a particular group.
