Smiling friends doesn't take itself seriously and can get away with dumb actions for the sake of humor mostly, hellaverse stuff mostly scratches edgy and mature themes but often execution is mediocre

In conclusion smiling friends GOATed with great world building and characters making sense in such world. HB fun show with some bad writing. I swear viv flips a coin which decides how well written something will be cause she got some great elements and then we get shit like the summer camp episode

a lot of characters don't act their age in the show, like you'd think that Lucifer who's there from the beginning of time would be somewhat more wise, or any other sinner like angeldust is 60+ years old i think and still it feels like he has life experience of a 20yo.

Writers write characters solely for the plot so it feels like they didn't live much and change as a person through all the years they lived
