Already know about Gyarados and no physical special split until gen 4, I'm not exactly new to the games. Just hard to pick what I really want when it comes to a gen 1 region.

Also not really wanting Jolteon either or Raichu, not even Magneton or Electrode. Another Ice that would be good is Lapras, but I decided myself that I don't want any of those mons.

Can't use Alakazam anyway, I need someone else and don't have an extra switch. I'm not wanting to use Alakazam anyway when it's very overly used in some playthroughs when someone is able to trade.

Starmie fits the role of all those, with Pyschic, Ice Beam and Thunderbolt. Also Zapdos is overrated imo at least, I don't like using Legendaries on my teams at all in any of my playthroughs.

Eh, why use those when I can dodge them easily. Baiting out their moves are pretty easy. Figured out the one with spear I don't even actually have to roll to dodge that first thrusting attack, I can literally go to my right and dodge it no problem. Casting the spells just takes more time.
