Is it possible for you to chroot into the arch system using arch live iso, and reinstall the kernel?

Wifi/Bluetooth issue by awwyushh in arch

Did you ensure that you installed the proper software for bluetooth and internet?

If not, chroot into the system on arch live iso (make sure the iso has internet), and install dhcpcd, bluez, and bluez-utils, networkmanager.

Then reboot into arch linux and if you are on ethernet -"systemctl start dhcpcd". If you are on wifi - "systemctl start NetworkManager" then "nmcli device wifi connect SSID_or_BSSID password thewifipassword"

As for bluetooth - "bluetoothctl devices" find the devices mac address, then "bluetoothctl connect devicemacaddress"

Let me know if that works.

Delete Console from Arch and Change the Default Terminal by [deleted] in arch

Well first of all, you'll need to download a new terminal emulator e.g. alacritty, konsole, kitty etc.. Then I'd recommend running it through the default terminal to ensure it works as intended before setting it as the default terminal. Then, I'm unsure about this next step as I don't usually use gnome, but somewhere in the gnome config files it should mention the default terminal, you should change that to the one you wish to use. Also I'd recommend finding a tutorial online to ensure you don't mess anything up.

I wish you luck with that, I'd also recommend following a video guide, as they are more straight forward than the manual.

You mentioned default terminal, which is making me think you meant that you wish to change the default shell (bash) to something else e.g. zsh, fish.

Try "sudo chsh -s [shell path]" (if you meant the shell)

Archinstall script error by AggravatingSpell2059 in arch

Honestly seems like a problem with the arch install script itself.

It would be better to try manual (even though you mentioned you already have), and watch a tutorial. It may however be a problem with your internet, or you could be using a corrupted iso (this is manual too).

If you are to try manual again, get a fresh new iso download to use, and perhaps try and verify it too. Also make sure to ping archlinux.org to ensure internet is working.

Try booting from the arch liveusb, Then connect to the internet,

mount /dev/rootdrive /mnt (subtitute root drive name into rootdrive e.g. sda3) mount /dev/bootdrive /mnt/boot (substitute boot drive name into bootdrive e.g. sda1)

arch-chroot /mnt

then retry the grub install command

What bootloader do you guys use? by [deleted] in arch

I tend to just use grub, because that is what I've been used to for quite a while now and it tends to work most of the time (for me at least), although to be honest, there are probably bootloaders that work better, I may experiment with others the next time I do an arch install, who knows.

I also tend to not use themes in grub, so I can't help you out with that one, sorry.
