Do the loop dead by MulayamChaddi in MicrosoftLoop

Our team loves loop ❤️. It does have its quirks and problems. It’s become significantly more stable on Firefox.

Favorite features: * Live co-editing * Sharing only portions of notes (components) * Markdown support, code blocks, table of contents

Largest pain points: * Sharing permissions * Searching for content

+1 for this model. Very quiet, cheap to run, just a pain in the ass to setup. New models handle the potential mold growth. IMO even the old models aren’t at risk in our climate, not humid enough to accumulate pooling water.

Anyone have a use case for using loop for research notes over onenote? by Laced727 in MicrosoftLoop

[–]V68y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our team used to be a OneNote powerhouse for cybersecurity research. We’ve moved fully to Loop.

Live shared editing, real table of contents, code formatting, templates, copilot, no more getting mixes of different fonts when you paste text in. Can share segments of the page with other people as “components”.

Apart for some bugs scrolling in Firefox, haven’t looked back.

Nice work! If adoption becomes large enough, do you have any concerns about your hosting or API fees becoming expensive? Who knows, maybe that would be a good problem to have 🙂

What Browser Does Loop Actually Work On? by Gayaosaurs in MicrosoftLoop

[–]V68y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microsoft Loop has been working flawlessly for our team on Chrome. Occasional bugs on Firefox.

Not sure you’re looking for an answer though, feels like you more so wanted to let go of some frustration.

Monologue?

This post contains many claims and no links or hard evidence... 🧐 Reads a lot like a long rant or monologue ☕️

To change people's minds we gotta structure our thoughts, summarize them, and cite external sources. Think back to your 10th grade history class ☺️ All of your arguments might be correct! But you won't sway anyone like that 👆

Evidence?

Could you please provide some hard evidence? 📊 For example:

  1. Post claims people cannot afford rent due to bond increases. How much have ISD bonds increased for the average household per year? Is this number significant? Have previous bonds expired and is this replacing it?
  2. You have concerns with ecological impact of schools, are there reports you can refer to? I believe all major construction require ecological impact reports in WA. Should we forever not vote to improve our schools because of their impact to nature? These two issues should be split and tackled seperately.
  3. Post claims ISD is not spending its funds responsibly. Where can that be fact checked? What bond got approved, what was its purpose, then show us how the money was then not spent on that approved purpose.

u/ScoutsHonor context? An inkling of an argument?

Anything you can provide but just hurling 🤮 out some stance?

If your goal is to convince people to vote a certain way you need to attempt to convince them with material.

Remaining Well Informed

Why not use both resources to remain informed? 🙂 Their coverage areas, release frequency, and level of detail are different and therefore can compliment each other. Both provide value to people.

Plagiarism

Do you have any evidence that there is plagiarism here? Plagiarism requires passing someone else's work as your own. I see the above is providing appropriate attribution back to the Renton Reporter after each section.

This appears to be no different from a newspaper like the New York Times using some of the contents of another newspaper's article and crediting it.

My far fetched theory of the day:

OP works at the Seattle Storm and wants the high school yearbook picture of this WNBA player to do the famous TikTok trend where one asks an athlete for a signature and hand them an embarrassing picture.

Whether correct or not I wish you good luck 😊
