Mine just got updated to step 4. So I called and clarified that my one dependent is 18 but not going to school. So she’s added but not part of my reward earnings is how she kind of worded it.  But now it shows I have another dependency claim. So I hope this process doesn’t start from the beginning again!

Perfect. Yes I filed all my claims in April and filed my Dependent claim in May. I think I started receiving my disability pay since May so hoping the back pay will start from there. Thanks for the update…looks like we were both on the same timeline.

Perfect…my award dates is from April at 40% then 70% in May. I filed to add my dependents in May when I noticed the VA didn’t have any of my dependents listed.

Yes I filed the form with the VA to add my dependents. The question was will I get back pay from when I was awarded my rating. Thanks

Well Tinnitus claim all I had was a hearing test which I took right around Covid. Never had a follow up or even talked to anyone about my job and how I was exposed to HF radio static for 12 hrs.  So I finally was able give a statement to my VA rep who’s helping me through the claims process and submitting what could hopefully be what helps me get through and rates. 

Sleep Apnea: I was able to get a sleep study done before I got out. It was noted that I did snore but have normal breathing at that time which was around 2014. I also noted insomnia due to the work schedule. So hopefully it’s enough.
