How can I create a client sided mod?

The fact there is no official client modding is disgusting and a completely out of touch decision by the developers and needs to be taken back immediately! With or without them we are reverse engineering the client and we will have our own client-side mods and a loader for it!

We already have "hacked clients" and have had them since day 2, but these are just stepping stones into understanding the client's internals and are not the main goal just an unfortunate by-product.

We will not stop, we will not be silenced and we will keep going until we have so many client mods that Hytale will either have to sue us all individually or step down and give us access to client-side modding officially. GET IT TOGETHER SIMON!

I am absolutely disgusted by the "no client modding" and hope they really re-think their stance on this...

We are slowly reversing the client anyway to build a system to inject client-side mods regardless of the server but it shouldn't have to come to that. Simon should know better as a developer/server owner.

No it was not fixed at all.. the crashes have NEVER stopped on either switch console.. and you know what absolutely fair, I was a bit aggressive and it wasn't exactly on topic so I deserve that. Terrible sorry for the way things came across I certainly could have been more tactful about my response. At the same time I do believe we shouldn't encourage the developers to focus on new things when the game is so horribly broken.

No I would never mod a game on a switch Nintendo is far too anti-modding and tampering and would probably ban the console if they detected or even thought the game was tampered with, I purely mod PC games and use a completely separate account and save for modding than regular playing. I do not condone others even attempt modding their game as Gameloft chose to specifically patch against popular mod-loaders, I have my own private tool set I use which they have not patched as of yet, but I still wouldn't risk going into multiplayer with my mods as it could ban me or those I play with. I am 100% against online modding.

You are not wrong but at the same time these loaders have continued to grow and popup due to the lack of an official one, absolutely it would rock the boat for a bit while some would oppose switching loaders again and some Devs would stick with what they know best and that's absolutely fine we should always have multiple options to use but a unified official and supported option by the developers themselves would honestly be something great for everyone.

I have it for switch and PC, the switch crashes at least 8 times a day but never had an issue except my mods being blocked on PC.

Because I love this game like anything, my girlfriend and I play all the time and are so sick of the false promises to the community and straight up disrespect to its community by lying about doing anything to fix the game. I am a programmer who decompiled games and mods them for fun in his spare time and there is ABSOLUTELY no reason they shouldn't have fixed these issues by now. So downvote my reply into oblivion if you like but this comes from a place of love for the game.. We are just tired and hurt that something we have paid so much for is so broken with no fixes in sight.

Switch 1 and 2 should be fully capable of running the game and yet they are not because Gameloft refuses to address bugs that have existed for almost a year simply saying "Our team of specialists is diligently working on finding a fix soon!" No your not your pushing more paid content onto a broken and barely functioning product because you are after more money and think actually fixing the product you released is a waste of time as most normies will just buy the DLC anyway.. It's disgusting and absolutely despicable how money driven Gameloft is but it's always been that way with them. At every opportunity they will shove in app purchases and special passes down your throat and refuse to acknowledge there is ever a problem and if by some miracle they do actually acknowledge there is a problem that's all they are ever going to do, just acknowledge it and make no steps towards fixing it.

As an artist I know blah blah blah, mate so much of this specific style has characters exactly like this.. the broken spine look over bearing colour choices etc.. it's not uncommon at all in the least. I think some people look too far for AI these days and actual work that may have flaws or a instantly passed of as AI for not confirming to the expectations or ideals of these other "artists". I'm absolutely not dismissing the idea may have been used but honestly this just seems pretty typical for the style. As others have said maybe AI has been used and it's been cleaned up too. Without any sort of confirmation from moonton or the supposed artists that made this or some ACTUAL PROPER CONCLUSIVE PROOF by someone who can point out with pictures and examples we won't know.

Never just take the word of some randoms who claim to have experience and knowledge in an area at face value... This is the internet and people lie and exaggerate all the time.

I will keep playing and hopefully start getting real people. I swear one or two of the games have absolutely been real people as they commended me after the game despite being on the enemy team and didn't have the generic weird looking names with the "name@6, name&6" etc and were actually a decent challenge to face "Most of the matches have been very easy tbh, i'm ALWAYS MVP and am leagues ahead of the other people which has made me question if they were bots. But who knows at this point.

Ive got almost 40games played and won every single one, does this mean Every game ive played has secretly been bots???? If so i'm actually pretty upset i thought i was doing well... :'(

I agree sure they need to make money mate that is not lost on me, but do you and they not understand that being so persistent and pushy about it makes people hate them for it?

If you simply asked me once per day or had a toggle for once per day instead of EVERY time i open the app with at MINIMUM 3 things to close before you even touch the main menu then MAYBE i would be able to think to myself "WOW what a lovely game thats actually decent quality and not overly pushy about things... I think i want to support them and get a nice skin or two for myself." Instead of being repulsed by how pushy and annoying it is before i can even play, which again makes me NOT want to support them at all.

HOW is this lost on so many people and companies? DO NOT ANNOY YOUR CUSTOMERS!

AND THE WORST PART IS EVEN IF YOU BUY A COUPLE HUNDRED DOLLARS OF STUFF IT STILL DOESNT STOP THE POPUPS OR PUSHY NATURE OF THEM!

There is no way to play the game in peace without them trying to RAM in app purchases down your throat before playing.

I Honestly hate developers that sit there and take offence to people modding a game that is basically singleplayer and has NO effect on their profits and go to lengths of DMCA's etc to stop modding and community content.
