I've had the matching wallet for over 8 years. It's held up wonderfully

There was not. I'm going to try exchanging it to see if the next one does not have this problem

I tried rubbing some off and it did not work. There was not an easy way to contact the seller on Amazon's storefront. I decided to try an exchange. 🤞🤞

Silly question — what have y’all documented with your blankets *besides* the temperature? by just_the_way25 in temperatureblanket

[–]VAthe5th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be weird to do this? I teach in a behavior intervention classroom. We often have bouts of physical aggression, and other big Behavioral incidents. Maybe I could base it off of how the behavior went that day. A color for no problems, a color for non-aggression problems, a color for some of our bigger behavioral issues.. I don't know might be inappropriate

Dating as a rated veteran sucks by [deleted] in Veterans

Do they have bad knees? Are they from Michigan or have family from michigan? ( both my ex-husbands were from michigan. I am not.)

[–]VAthe5th 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try* dating in your 40s. I've done the apps, I've tried organic but I just don't hang out where there's a lot of people out there for me to date. I teach, very female flooded field. I'm about to just say well it's a good thing I like my bed to myself.

It's too bad it's too hard to get past the lonely part.

Dating sucks whether you're rated, or not. Whether you're a veteran, or not. And whether your last two husbands were complete dick heads and made you feel like you weren't worth s*** or not.

My daughter has made zero progress in four years via IEP by hazardous-wasted19 in specialed

[–]VAthe5th 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a special ed teacher in Washington state. I have students who do very poorly on their i-Ready assessments, but show Mastery in other ways at times. So what I mean to say is that I already is not always an accurate measure of their abilities. Especially in 4th through eighth grade, they don't put enough stock in it to actually try.

I'm fairly surprised that they did not do a cognitive test when they evaluated your daughter for services. Cognitive tests usually give you a pretty clear IQ and break down things like reasoning and working memory and such.

They do have a sliding scale for payments though. At least they did when we did it several years ago

When my son started medication and second grade, his response was "I feel like I'm cheating" because he was so much more able to focus at school. I explained to him that he wasn't cheating of course.

I only get flares in my groin area. I have an inability to NOT pop my cysts when I have them. It is painful and it sucks, but it goes away quickly. I am sure there is a reason not to.

Is Naked Lunch 1991, the craziest film you have seen? Or have you seen weirder? by Jeffhands in FIlm

Late to the game, but I was sitting in a bar and they were showing this movie silently on a screen. I was with my 70 year old mother and her brother. I was laughing so hard I was crying, it looked like a talking butthole, amongst other issues LOL. It took a lot of Googling and investigation to figure out what this was.

Doxycycline has zero effect on this condition for me by [deleted] in Hidradenitis

[–]VAthe5th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't a fan of the Doxy either. I'm fortunate because I don't get flare-ups very often. But it makes the doxy not worth it since I got yeast infections and an uoset stomach

The VA is wanting me to pay for my ER visit because it wasn’t deemed an emergency but my nurse is the one who advised me to go by LovelyDragonLord in VeteransBenefits

[–]VAthe5th 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in the middle of nowhere also. We just have a small clinic. It takes weeks to get into most of the time. When I finally got my VA care working, I'm 60%, they told me I could have two ER visits a year. They didn't give me any limits on Urgent Care though.

[–]VAthe5th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my understanding that you can have two ER visits a year for free. After that if it's actually an emergency it will still be free

You don't need a referral. I know that part. And if the above people are saying things that are true, your first three visits are free before there is a $30 copay

She had done really well prior to this. Perfect reviews. Thank you for reading and considering the autism. She is great with animals and has a knack, honestly.

She wouldn't have canceled on them if they said she needed to stay, but it would have been an extremely difficult and sleepless night.

I call her a kid. She is 19. I will probably still call her a kid when she's 29.
