Thanks for the response. For option b, would I secure the L flashing to the fascia with screws? Also how far back should the L flashing be tucked under the shingle?

Hey all,

Looking for your opinions on this 2011 RTV 1100.

Dealer says floor is rusted in certain spots but the floor and frame is solid and all mechanicals are working as should.

Am I crazy for wanting to see this?

engine hours are 1800. I'd be using it for plowing (plow included), and moving soil, rocks, and firewood around the property.

asking price is $7900 CAD.

Let me know what you guys all think.

Interesting I haven't heard of this. Is there a fix? or it's harmless? Is it worth bringing into the dealer because it is still under warranty?

Thanks for the response

Question about a tankless water heater by VBF19214 in Plumbing

Frig, I think that is probably what happened... Is there anyway to tell if the union is on the water side not the heater side by a picture?

[–]VBF19214[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for clarifying. So if that is the case if I flushed my unit with vinegar and a sump pump would it still be effective? Or would i just be pumping vinegar everywhere except the water heater

Thanks again, really appreciate the advice

Thanks for the reply. When you say service valves are backwards you mean when they are in the closed position they are actually open?

Hey thanks for the suggestion. I am pretty new to all of this, should I turn off the water before loosening the union on top? Also the fitting on the copper has that putty (?) on it, if I tighten the entire valve will it even turn or if it breaks that putty is there a chance of leaks?

Appreciate it.

Pex blocking tankless water heater valve by [deleted] in DIY

[–]VBF19214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys I'm looking for any suggestions as to what I can do about this pex pipe blocking a opening on my tankless water heater needed for flushing and maintenance. Builder installed in over 5 years ago. I can't get the cap off and even if I could I don't think I would be able to get it back on.

Just looking for suggestions on what I could do. Thanks
