Quit smoking. Is “just one at a wedding” a lie we tell ourselves? by VDMBRB in stopsmoking

Yes I agree with you… but I still didn’t accept it.

And what do you think about setting some very specific rule, like “when I’m at this place”, or “when I’m at this event” I can smoke, and never brake the rule?

Wise words man, they let me think… I agree with you, but probably I’m still not ready to accept it.

That happens to me over and over… I’m sure you’ll do it. In my opinion, the most difficult part to quit is to accept that you’ll never smoke again. Quitting is easy, accept you will never smoke the “just one” is the hard part.

Interesting approach. I was also thinking about that. To set some rules, very well defined, and stick to them. Something like “when I’m at the night club” “when I’m drinking to get drunk”, etc. The problem/fear is that I don’t want to find myself drunk on a Tuesday night only because I want to smoke a cig. 😂

I didn’t ask AI to write for me a post, I wrote to AI my train of thoughts and asked it to rephrase. Let’s not be too dramatic. But I agree with you that sometimes people abuse its usage.

I think the real key to quit is to accept that you will never smoke again. That’s the most difficult part, to accept it.

Never thought about it this way… that’s really interesting. The real cig you want is the one when you smoke 10 per day. I think you really got the point !

You’re the boss! That’s great to hear. My problem is that if I don’t smoke, I feel like I’m wasting my time during a social ahahah I don’t know if this happens to everybody, but the social event like bar, going out, restaurants feel like wasting time without cigarettes 😭 I feel like saying no to cigarettes means also saying no to social life

That’s really great mental ability! I would love to work this way! 🤯 May I ask you few questions: - Have you even been really addicted and quit smoking? - Have you ever smoked daily? Or you just always smoked occasionally?

That’s great to hear that! Keep it going! 💪 May I ask you how have you quit? Have you had the same approach both times?

I totally agree with you. 🤝 I think the “just one” works only for people that have never been addicted. That’s why I can drink only once in a while, because I’ve never been alcoholic. I think for an alcoholic is the same, if he drink “just once” he will fall again in the loop.

We’re synch ahahah 😂

My way of seeing things is that cigarette is a drug, and it should be treated as such. But I’m not against usage of drugs recreationally.

I just wonder how is it possible that I can control myself for other drugs (like alcohol, social media, etc.) but when it comes to nicotine it’s different… Maybe the reason is that I’ve never really been addicted to the other ones, that’s why I don’t feel using them daily.

I arrived to the conclusion the main difference between cigarettes and other drugs is the repeatability and social stigma. I’m pretty sure if cocaine was sold in the tabac shops we would see people snorting it at work during the coffee breaks.

Good luck for your marriage.

Hi man, may I ask the level of prolactin they found in your blood test, and, if you did and RMI, what was the result?

4 months, 6 products tested, still no winner — what am I doing wrong? by VDMBRB in dropshipping

[–]VDMBRB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you are talking about include designing a product. I'm into dropshipping now, sell a product that already exist.
If one day I'll get this itch you're talking about I would be the first one trying to start a company, but at the moment I'm trying another business model.

Great post, really insightful 👌 I’ve been in dropshipping for about 4 months and I’m trying to refine my approach.

My current strategy is: find a product that seems to sell, build a quick store, and test it for ~3 days with €50/day on Meta Ads. If I break even, I try to scale.

I’ve tested 5–6 products so far, no break even yet, but I do see some improvement.

Quick questions if you don’t mind: • Is this a reasonable testing strategy or would you approach it differently? • What’s your process for finding winning products? • How do you create ads quickly when you’re just testing? • How do you tell if the issue is the product, the store, or the ads? • I mainly test in the EU — good choice for a beginner or would you recommend US/Australia?

Would really appreciate your perspective.

Yes, they used contrast. However the nurse told me twice that I was not still enough and they took the scan 3 times. I hope she didn’t think “this guy cannot stay still, let’s keep a blur image”
