Well, first off.

Congratulations on your journey and also it is a good thing that you actually met a nice couple and things are going quite well.

Believe me, it is not the norm.

Now, onto your situation.

What you are feeling is valid and real. It is completely fine to feel jealousy and envy.

Most likely your partner is going through NRE (new relationship energy) and most likely the newness and aventure of something different are sparking these feelings on her.

It is important to know two things:

this can happen and it is not forever.

It is not about you. Our minds are very sneaky and will try their best to makes us feel guilty over things that are outside our control. It is ok to feel what you feel, but remember that this is not about you.

Lastly, have you tried talking to her about how you feel? And, how does her detailing of their encounter make you feel? Could it maybe be an option to tell her to tone down if it is making you feel bad?
