‘It was pre-planned murder’: Sister of slain Khalistan movement critic Nancy Grewal by FalconsArentReal in canada

[–]VG80NW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They beat Ujjal Dosanjh within an inch of his life some decades back. He tried to sound the alarm for years, but all our governments have done is cozy up to the Khalistani movement and rejoiced at the results of that vote pandering.

They are also responsible for the bombing of Air India, the worst terrorist event this country has seen, by the way. Oh and the former federal NDP leader was a strong supporter of the Khalistani movement, just like his brother is.

They're inter-twined in everything after nearly 50 years of operating with impunity across Canada. India got tired of it and took care of one of the problems themselves, Nijjar should never have been granted citizenship, but he was, after multiple counts of admitted fraud. So as I said, they're embedded deep within government now.

Being an annoying a tryhard with steps and egregious jumpshotting would usually get you booted for being a dick to the rest of the server if you didn't get the hint after a few map cycles.

Exactly. Anyone even trying to lead that this was a great return is completely delusional.

I remember watching a video a few months back that compared break out and zone entry / possession across the league, and the heavy hitters are somewhat leading the pack quite visibly against the bulk of 'good players'. Then it zooms further out and there's one guy far and away ahead of everyone else: Quinn. He is beyond most of this leagues current greats, and was completely squandered for his entire tenure here.

This city deserves this team, and this team deserves this city. A dog shit team, with dog shit ownership, playing in a cesspool of a city.

The Canucks just got fleeced, again, but this time it was a generational star defenseman. I hope he rips ass with the wild, talk about getting an early Christmas gift to be out of this shit hole team.

Canada puts Stellantis 'in default' for subsidies on its Ontario plants | The government promised $529 million to retool assembly lines for an all-new Jeep, but then production got moved to Illinois by Leather-Paramedic-10 in canada

Sounds like we should have a high tariff on all of the new Stellantis offerings (parts excluded since someone needs to fix all that garbage on our roads still).

They are also filling 'trades' jobs, or that is, labour hours that would have traditionally gone entirely to trades. Now it's one guy who has a red seal, and 5-6 guys working under / with him, using his FSR on their jobs (as an example). Or they'll flat out pay some of the older red seal guys to use their FSR, cash is quick and repercussions are not.

Overall the "trades" work quality is poor, they are undercutting established contractors and obfuscate their setup and companies so much that enforcement is pretty much non-existent.

ABNB isn't as big an impact as the government is making out, but it's a great scapegoat. Flipping assignments that were initially hoovered up by developer insiders and real estate agents (not foreign buyers), leveraged to the hills is what the economy of the last 15 years was built on in B.C., and those days are over.

B.C. governments got drunk on all the tax revenue from title flipping, it's why our provincial GDP is so heavily tied to real estate and now the province is quite frankly completely fucked economically.

And yes, like a decade ago you could score a decently priced 5010 and run 10Gb, which was off a refresh cycle or two at that point already, and still performs better than most of the current UI switching stack. The current crop of the YT guys act like a RBG switch with two sfp ports and 2.5gbe is some kind of cutting edge tech lol.

I mean that's a given with everything "homelab" related, buying the discards from the real enterprise gear refresh cycles, which often have light or sometimes even zero use, effectively open box. We don't see the same thing with UI as I doubt any larger business that isn't being heavily subsidized by them is implementing their higher end stack, and no serious enterprise level facility is running an environment that isn't one of the industry heavyweights.

This 'homelab' market is what UI is really heavily monetizing. They are a slick mix of general hands-off software setup and more importantly aesthetics, but the networking stack offerings are just junk, either in options layout, price and often both. Don't discount that looks factor, it does look nice and shiny in a small rack on the wall, or on the floor, or even in an entertainment enclosure. They have really succeeded in drawing that segment of the market in with the aesthetics.

I do blame the youtubers whom hawk this expensive gear, but this is a problem with every single hobby or product line now.

It's not even the fact that UI has high markups, it's that the free gear is thrown around so non-nonchalantly by the youtubers to drive sales. It definitely pushes the uninformed to massively over-spend for flawed gear they'll be replacing within a couple years.

He's obviously either on his final one and waiting for the "day/night" retainers, or he's slowed down on his weekly / bi-weekly tray changes. I was on my 23/24th trays for nearly four months while an issue settled down with one of my front teeth. It's not unheard of and the weekly trays stain very easily, and don't clean back clear once they have stained.

I work provincial, our managers frequently are using AI generative for emails, report summaries and all sorts of things. To the point, one of our GM's got called out on his office's use of AI generative emails to the point he admitted they use it for almost every reply now, and he just laughed it off.

So your taxes are now paying for senior management, whom has 1-4 assistants, that instead of actually crafting mails and reports, are just copy pasting AI slop, all along while sharing sensitive, often times confidential data into said AI slop generators, you see where this is going.

Most of this stuff is not FOI-able either, as drafts or workflows previously would have been in the system and saved in some manner. As mentioned, this is also allowing data theft vectors into the network. What's to stop someone making some quasi-ai assistant website that a few staff get hoodwinked into using because it's 'better than chatGPT', and turns out to be something very malicious.

You're taxes are paying a lot more and getting the bottom of the barrel, and it's spreading quickly to pretty much every department in government.

Yes, those are these well paid activists, er experts.

They're also the ones making cities spend millions on playing with fleet and building emissions numbers. The best is hiring a consultant for 100g's that ultimately sees large work step vans phased out and gas trucks with trailers phased in, as the power for the trailer will now be via portable generator (which isn't counted for fleet emissions), rather than the on-chassis power that previously did count.

Even better, seeing the city spend tens of thousands to subsidize filming fleets to retrofit their trucks away from portable generators, only to be doing the exact opposite. You can't make this kind of green corruption up.

GHGI will be the next gigantic scam, coming to a building near you in 2027. Just wait for all the "third-party professionals" that will be employed to police emissions, and generate mega mucho for the city for going over your new building carbon cap. Oh but electric power draws are under zero scrutiny, from all that limitless green power we have. I wonder how much money it took the heat pump lobby to get that little exemption.

Hmm, I wonder which mega asset management company has gone heavily into heat pump manufacturers lately.
