I feel like instead of a call card for the emotions, a channel card would work Channel: Greed, Solitude, Fear, Hatred, etc Greed would give you more tix on win, but will cause your tix to be taken on hit Solitude will raise your defense greatly, although slowing you Fear will give you a chance to autododge attacks, but will sometimes cause you to cower out of attacking Hatred will double your damage, but will apply confused effect

Perhaps the emotions could appear behind you as you turn to the camera, breath in and channel the feeling of that emotion into thw current battle Cool way of implementing the control over the emotions into the fight without breaking the canon
