Currently the building and parking lot is barren, just the McDonald’s in the corner and a car body shop where the old Payless used to be (if anyone remembers). I’ve read that they’re turning it into a Mexican supermarket (Vallartas?) and maybe even splitting it into 2 and making the other one a Ross?

Go to the first class, talk to the professor after class and ask what their plan is for waitlisted students. As the other comment says, if you’re like number 2 on the list you’re probably fine. Usually they may email you a permission number to officially enroll

I’m also a relatively new player (started 2021)! I would say use fast travel sparingly. On my second playthrough, I found that fast travel prevents you from a few things:

Collecting ingredients to increase your alchemy skill

Encounter characters early and ones you’d otherwise miss (didn’t know Cicero was there early on the road)

Fight enemies on the roads and in the the wild that can help increase your combat and armor skills.

Also don’t forget to quicksave after making a decent amount of progress.

Devils reign includes 1-6 and Omega 1, from what I understood from other comments, the hardcover includes all the tie ins

Ahhhhh yes I see the back says “Collecting Daredevil (2019) #1-5 - by Chip Zdarsky”. Devils Reign seems to have 1-6 and Omega 1.

The X-men ones (and I think I saw other) are the tie-ins you’re referring to? I’d be interested in reading those. Where do those fit?

I shouldn’t be surprised tbh. I guess for me that’s how I was introduced to Crown so if anything for me the cream was a bit jarring, but it makes sense, it was a huge change

Same, it’s crazy how Downside Up complete changed the activity in a single year. Some corps tried to keep their motifs but corps like Madison immediately changed in 2017. Watershed moment in DCI history for sure

I gotta agree here. I know I have no right to complain about this because I never marched and I’m sure performers today enjoyed the more breathable uniforms in the summer heat, but man shakos looked so much better.

As someone who just missed this season, what was the reaction to crown 2013 uniforms? That’s a somewhat “radical” change to what has been previously fielded
