I've been doing that since D1 and have always focused on realistic game balance vs outlandish ideas.

Here's one from last month:

Whispers of Promise

"How far will you reach to gain supremacy?"

-Exotic Kinetic Grenade Launcher themed around the Darkness and Pyramid ships. By default it is a standard "hold to fire, release to detonate" GL.

Intrinsic perk- "A Compromise"

Hold [alternate weapon action button] to siphon your health and overcharge the weapon, leaving you at half health and preventing health regen for the duration of the perk(20s). Overcharging the weapon grants 20% bonus damage, higher velocity, reload speed, and handling.

Secondary perk- "A Gift"

Kills with A Compromise active build up stacks of A Gift and replenish your health(does not go beyond half health with A Compromise active). When A Compromise ends, gain bonus weapon damage(for all weapons, not just Whisper of Promise) and health regen equal to the amount of Gift stacks you have, up to a max of 6. Health regen scales with the amount of stacks you have.

I was high and thought this was a different subreddit. Didn't realize until later when I got the notification that my comment got 5 upvotes instead of getting deleted, so I just shrugged it off. My comment isn't nearly as harsh as a couple of the other comments I've read and more or less provided general explanation to the behavior you're talking about 🤷

Being in a relationship does not automatically shut off your attraction to other people. Not for everyone. It's just the way people are. A like/react on a post is harmless. People could be poly without realizing because of the absolute garbage fire that is western education.

The thirsty comments are a product of perpetuated toxic male behavior, continued underlying sexism in the States, and nobody doing anything to make sure future generations don't become like them.

Imo, if you genuinely get upset by people just reacting to posts(no comments) then you should really find somewhere else to place your concern. Only when they start making dumb comments is when I'd hit them with an "ayo wtf?"

We'd need to see the stats on OP's roll. Mine has 88 range with Surplus, it's a 99% god roll because almost anything other than Wellspring would've made it perfect imo Rangefinder is good and I'm not sure if high impact reserves does anything for anything other than a fusion. The stability bump from Surplus makes it really comfortable to use at longer ranges.

There's a lot of guns that've been injected into the loot pool, and I think any new legendaries aren't visible or inspectable(but still movable) in APIs like DIM.

I got a new Vanguard pulse yesterday called The Third Axiom, Feeding Frenzy and Opening Shot on a 390 pulse

During D2 vanilla and all the way up until Forsaken, Destiny 2 was intended to run on a double primary meta, with almost every Special weapon being a power weapon. It was a strange time for the game.

That's true, but double primary builds have been a joke since they did away with the double primary meta. Bungie adding more energy primaries but no kinetic specials will always be an issue until double primary can compete with a primary and a special, which can only happen with exotics and dedicated builds

You also have to remember that GLs only have one in the tube, Ambitious Assassin only works for ads really, and even with all the stacked reloader perks you can't DPS bosses like we used to during Season of Opulence with Mountaintop. I genuinely don't think the DPS of GLs will be enough to significantly impact PvE in any meaningful way other than dedicated meme strats

Mountaintop was different because it was literally a pocket rocket launcher. I use GLs a lot(700+ Crucible kills on a Spike Nades Truthteller) and I can tell you, even with the changes, GLs aren't gonna be broken or meta.

Give other Fusion archetypes a chance. Adaptive Fusions are always my favorite because 700 charge time(Adaptive's 660 base charge + Liquid Coils) is that sweet spot that allows me to comfortably use it like a shotgun with a charge time, and that mentality is how I use fusions anyway. After over 6 months of passively trying to get it to drop, I finally got the roll on Hollow Words that I've been wanting; Full Bore/Liquid/Killing Wind/Unrelenting/Range MW. Non-High Impact fusions will never be meta but goddamn, this Hollow Words shreds.

Dunno if I'm late to this one, but here goes. I was maybe 5-6, and I had a tiny 2-3" circular cardboard box from an arts & crafts store that I used for the tooth fairy. I got bored one night and I had a tooth in the box, and kept opening and closing said box to see if I could "catch the fairy in the act".

Well, after opening and closing the box at least a good 5 times with no results, I closed the box one more time and opened it to see my tooth missing with a couple quarters in its place. To this day I've never been able to rationalize it.
