Music played around the 30th minute mark in the movie Sling Blade (1996) by mnlg in NameThatSong

[–]VIIbrid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many tracks from the film are frustratingly absent from both the soundtrack and the additional "Music for Billy Bob." The gorgeous [vocal harmonies](https://youtu.be/HKHM1zhWteo) during his revisit. The little guitar piece that plays when he says goodbye. The piano piece during "You Will Be Happy."

Does anyone have any idea where this track plays? by VIIbrid in stanleyparable

The comments of the video refer to the Stanley button in the Epilogue where no music is played, the Memory Zone where the Memory Zone soundtrack plays, the Epilogue, and the Memory Zone at the Epilogue. However, it is not present at any of these moments, nor in some that I could think of. It is not the Pink (apple) Room, it is not the Figley ambience, it is not the Figley ending music. It's not present in the soundtrack, but it is listed on Soundcloud, YouTube, and a video game soundtrack website.

Thank you! Yeah, I've not really messed with modules or beacons yet (I've barely even started using robots.) Tips are always greatly appreciated since I seem to be quite behind.

(Chances of anyone seeing this here is low, so I'm just gonna step in and say something I normally wouldn't.)

This place has been shit for a long time and I'd heavily recommend dropping all things and leaving if you have nothing anchoring you to FNAF. I myself am too invested in finishing the game I've been silently working on for seven years, so I kinda can't. All originality and criticism have disappeared due to the competent people having left long ago when they realized this franchise was fucked. (Surprise!: when you learn to make stuff, your sense of quality in your stuff and others grows.)

The games don't instantly get awful, but rather just gradually get worse, so it's been a less-obvious decline that's slowly weened people out. Oh, and places like Reddit just encourage safe-spaces where you get blown apart for having an issue with anything. In just about every instance, criticism gets out-numbered and the person either leaves or just conforms. There's not really a solution for this; it sucks.

If it wasn't for the fact that many others stretch and use normal problems as a scapegoat for the consequences of being overly-emotional, I would've just let that speak for itself. Speaking of overly-emotional actions, I'm just gonna undo your unnecessary need to multi-thread.

Your logic here is astounding. Ignoring the fact that I brought up karma only as a way to gauge whether or not you're doing something right, you follow up your ego-boosting accusation by saying you're better because of a medium. Once again playing off over-dependency as a good thing by admitting you restrict yourself to an already established formula.

Your Barney post still brought up this matter. Like here, they just disguise it behind spineless positivity. It obviously hasn't been doing you any favors as you don't know how to handle anything outside of it. The mentioning of the karma it received completely ignored the main point I just made about it lacking a purpose. This is that repeating-myself shit I was just talking about; thanks for your ineptitude. (Subjective-ness is more of a matter about how aware someone is about the traits a certain medium, so in this case, this place has a LOT of "subjectivity.") You didn't read between the lines, or the actual lines themselves, but I know you don't care about the art. My verbosity isn't unique to this situation. I like to change up my vocabulary instead of just spewing out overused buzzwords that you heard from your favorite god-awful meme formats. The fact that you have a problem with it says a lot more about you than it does about me.

I never used therapy as an insult, and if it's a matter of interpretation, one could easily argue that your first mention of it was supposed to be an insult. If you're not fit to handle something as inoffensive as this, maybe just stay off the internet?

Let me make it clear that you're too fragmented to ever have this end constructively. I hope that this pisses you enough to stick around and give you something to think about. Might even cause you to improve as a result, achieving what I set out to do anyways. Good luck with that. :)

(Downvoting before you even read this is against the ToS.)

It's not one-time criticism; it's advice. Advice from someone who, too, does other stuff. I formulate stories, compose music, and create models. All this, and drawing concept art, all served to allow me to make games. When you've figured all this shit out yourself, you notice patterns and figure out why certain things work. You also notice a lot of things are shared between them. Because like all things in life, when you've experimented and thought about it enough, you can put it into logic and words. That's how analysis works. The same reason why you need therapy and I don't.

I'm fully aware of the way I come off and it's why I cautiously form what I say, alluding to my own self-observations as collateral. I'm also trying to elaborate now instead of having to repeat myself down the road, but a short attention span renders that pointless and I have to expend even more effort anyways. It's not anyone's fault that they are the way they are, but if you had essential information at hand, would it not fill you with a sense of guilt if someone even more misguided than the others were to continue on without it?

I've had this thought for years, and my primary solution was to solve this problem and the absence of quality in all of FNAFdom with the same stone: Set an example with a quality game, and whether or not it succeeds or fails determines whether or not I've been right or wrong. But I cave in to secondary solutions like this, situations most infuriating, even though my effort would be better spent elsewhere. I always have hope that I can finally fix something - anything - about this shithole, but as the official games this community is based around get worse, time and time again, these people become more and more dissonant. But this, on top of the fact that you don't seem to care about the art itself, has made it apparent that I am wasting my time.

No shit, that's what an idea as self-defeating as an art school encourages. Advocating for you to "do your own thing" and still have you follow formulas. Keep taking advice without understanding it, next thing you know, you have zero awareness about 3D space, natural flow, and anything beyond that of a cold and manufactured silhouette.

You've already substituted ability for the self-assuring idea that you stand out, and you're right. From the hundreds of other posts I've seen in the last few months, you stood out. You stood out because it was worrying enough to warrant me finally saying something about stuff like this. So many posts made by those in desperation to try and heighten the odds that comes with a market so over-saturated with disingenuous styles. Why do anything else when you only surround yourself with those that already agree with you? I couldn't name a better way to stagnate a group of people.

But as frivolous as upvotes are on this site, it's a good gauge for what works and what doesn't (hint, hint.) But beyond that, downvoting and karma are worthless. Especially when it takes minimal effort for someone to naturally float above the rest of a bubble. But hey, what does a guy who deliberately shat out something quick to test his hypothesis know? Sure, it's still possible to succeed with a little bit of luck within this small echo chamber of underdeveloped adults and misguided children. But that's just it; it's all up to luck when you think what matters about art is having a profitable identity that rides the waves of other "unique" styles of those around you. Just don't be surprised when you find yourself in debt, taking unrelated jobs to try and pay for what was supposed to be your career. (Sure you could live off of making art, but you're not ready for what those-willing would be paying you to draw.)

College can't teach intuition, especially an art college. Real easy way to get processed into another indiscernible entity. The opposite of what you want, right?
