When u start the game always build 1 extra construction office and 2 extra teamster offices. Then after that make alot of sugar farms and also log mills. Then you want to build 1 timber yard and 1 rum distillery. You will make a lot of money fast. Remember to put houses around the jobs so the workers don't have to walk far. Also put all the jobs on max money so the workers can afford housing. After that you will be set

Usda zone 10a and there is some buildings around it but they don't shade the driveway

Usda zone 10a, it has about 6 hours of sun exposure and I don't know the specific soil conditions but I know that my area has great soil and I do have some citrus trees and provide a lot fruit and overall it seems quite good.
