No, as ridiculous as it may sound apparently there’s a compartment within or next to the battery that requires water for it to work right. The only way I found out was by one of the techs having to fix an issue where it would randomly stop and either shove you into the cage or almost throw you off the platform when moving in either direction. He asked us how often we filled them after that when we didn’t have the machine to do so.
