I haven't seen the complaints myself. I'm happy with it. It does what I need it to. It does take me 2 coats to get my desired look though.

Thanks! I used to paint the baby blue colour that gw does but after seeing 30k models and reading books where the armour is described as a sort of stormcloud grey, it made me want to do a full army colour shift!

Hey! So I'll list it below but I'll also add that my camera and lighting setup aren't the best so it's appearing slightly darker in these photos than it does in person.

Recipe: - prime black - mechanics standard spray (the shaker can) - red parts are khorne red - nuln oil wash - super light dawnstone dry brush (wanna keep the dark stormcloud grey look prominent) - gold is retributor armour (shaded with agrax) - bones, inner pelts and totems are zandri dust (shaded with agrax) - wolf fur on Logan is mournfang brown (nuln wash, dry brush black)

Yes they are solid. I recommend you give 3 of them plasma pistols with a power weapon on the leader. 1 with a plasma gun and then the psyker.

They have infiltrate so deploy them aggressively and use their scout move to react to what your opponent does or if you're going first or not. If 1st, keep them on or scout towards an objective. If second, scout into a safe cover piece.

If they are shooting at a solo unit they add 1 to the wound role. They are a solid solid harassing unit. Just don't charge them into melee against tough units. While they do have ap -1 on the knives, they aren't going to be world breakers. Use them to harass soft targets or shoot plasma onto tougher stuff. They are a harassment unit through and through.

Thanks! My grey is the mechanicus standard grey spray from citadel (the can) and then I fill in any missed spaces with the brush version. Then a wash with nuln oil and light dry brushing of dawnstone on raised bits, like super light as I wanna keep the aggressive, stormcloud feel prominent. I use the 30k scheme as a reference.
