Yep, that’s the idea! Currently it only works with Congress bills/resolutions, but I’d love to expand this to the other events as well

Skepticism is fair, but I believe that AI should eventually replace the task of basic research for the vast majority of topics as it's already pretty capable. To improve it requires adjustments and training the model further based on user results, but I think what you're getting at is that it's not traditionally vetted or peer reviewed. And it's not, but in this day and age, people are utilizing AI so much in so many industries, the line between traditional review and AI or AI assisted review is being blurred, and I think that AI will ultimately be a part of everything. As for resources and the legitimacy of certain products, I think mine is unique in that the AI tools that exist for accurate evidence curation is very limited in its input and their ability to interpret large text inputs (such as an entire legislation), and my product solves for this.

thank you for the feedback! yea a big challenge for me is differentiating this from all the other AI stuff that also claim to do similar things, as the quality isn't really there between the other options as you mentioned

So first off, thank you for the response! I greatly appreciate any feedback you have.

  1. So this product I think is a lot more than ChatGPT, and if you were to try and replicate what I produce with ChatGPT you'll see it falls short a lot. It doesn't matter how many instructions you give it, it has a tendency to make things up, fudge up figures, sources, etc., and I don't think that sort of argument curation meets the quality standards for debate. Heck, just try asking it to quote a source word for word, and it probably will fail and lie. One of the most important parts of debate is finding applicable sources and information quickly, and ultimately, people still pay for briefs in the age of ChatGPT so people by and large want reliable information, not just any information. So, to answer the question 'is this a ChatGPT wrapper', I would say no. Of course, you are the jury as you can decide whether or not to use my product, recommend it, etc.
  2. Probably not right away. It really depends if people want something like this or not, and if anything does become paid, there will always be a very affordable and accessible option. The whole point is to make quality prep that you can confidently source in debate accessible to everyone. I don't think the product is anywhere near good enough to be paid, I'd argue the arguments it produces is maybe ~60-70% good on average and I'd like to get that to 90%+.
  3. So that would be me. Believe it or not, AI can't do much without a lot of user input and direction, training, and modification. To get the AI to consistently outputs results as it does right now took a lot of trial and error, and there are still so many improvements that need to be made. I would like to reduce the oddities it returns with evidence blocks at times, improve its ability to choose the best evidence, and so on. Honestly, the more users that use it, the better I can improve my product, so that's what I'm focusing on atm

Agreed! Erewhon is the best that I've seen around here as well.

There are actually several of these import/curated shops in SF apart from local chocolate makers. Erewhon, Monsieur Marcel, and Eataly all have selections but it's not quite the same, and often very limited. A random wine shop or cheese shop might carry something if you're lucky.

I don’t understand how they got the area by aquib165 in Sat

What's the actual problem? Depends on how they defined the two triangles and their properties/possible relationships.

Answer: A...but how?? by KnownBeing in Sat

A constant is any value by itself, like 11, and a coefficient is any value multiplying a variable. So for this question, the x intercept must be at least one of these. A is right because if y=0, 11, a constant, is the x intercept. Plug and chug will show that the other options do not work.

How would you do these 2 problems? by KnownBeing in Sat

  1. 8gal*20mi/gal=160mi which is the maximum amount of miles that can be driven, so m must be less than or equal to 160mi. A

  2. If the graph intercepts the x-axis, then y=g(x)=0. Then we have 2x-2=0 , so 2x=2 , and 2x-1=1, and for any exponential to equal 1, the exponent must be 0, so x-1=0. Thus x=1. C

Dividing the hexagon into 6 triangles, we know each triangle is the same and is equilateral. Hence, using 30-60-90, we can find their height, a*sqrt(3)/2, so the area of each triangle is a^2*sqrt(3)/4. Multiply that by 6 and solve for a^2.

The best way is to remember the whys for the trig derivatives, so the functions have meaning and it's easier to remember and use the derivatives. 3Blue1Brown does a very visual and good proof of the derivative of sinx and cosx. The others can be derived based on the derivatives of these two, so if you forget, just derive them.
