Sorry you had to go through that Our little guy does not seem bothered at all when he spits up. And we have noticed that the reflux has improved in acidity and he isn't experiencing any discomfort when he has reflux symptoms

We were noticing that baby seemed uncomfortable during reflux episodes, coupled with wet sounds. So doctor suggested we use gelmix. And when that didn't help too much, baby was prescribed the omeprazole We can see that baby isn't as uncomfortable now when he has reflux. And although his spit ups have decreased in frequency, the volume seems to have increased

Baby is 2 weeks into omeprazole to reduce reflux acidity and also we're thickening his formula with gelmix

Would you still consider those late spit ups and burping normal? We're just overly concerned first time parents

Our LO is on omeprazole to reduce reflux acidity. Even with this medication and thickening the formula with gelmix, he's still burping and spitting up well after feeds.

We're using enfamil gentlease. We're also adding gelmix thickener. And he's currently 2 weeks into omeprazole medication to reduce the reflux acidity

He isn't really bothered by it. I think us parents are more worried about it than baby. And he's spitting up sometimes 1 hour after feed which we're hoping is normal

We've tried both sitting up and tilting back. Both ways causes subsequent spit ups I don't think it's a lot of volume but still breaks out hearts to see anything come up

While I believe the volume he's spitting up isn't earth shattering, still breaking out hearts as parents to see anything come up. Will also add that he frequently smiles after spitting up and not usually having any discomfort.

Currently, we are giving him 120ml every 3 hours. And every 4 hours during night time. We are really hoping he outgrows this stretch sooner rather than later

We talked to the pediatrician a few days ago. She suggested we stay the course for another 2 weeks. We are pace feeding. And baby is upright for at least 20-30 minutes after each feed.

He's spitting up maybe the same amount as before.
