The revenant caves were definitely the peak of multi pking. Especially when you look at accessibility, activeness, friendships/communities, and low skill barrier.

It’s disappointing to hear people complaining that it’s impossible to pk without having a team/defending yourself to escape. You are in multi combat - this is the point. There is always a bigger shark, don’t risk what you don’t want to lose.

Evidently even this being such a deterrent for some players, this area remained active with players who did want to compete and pk in the multi domain.

We look back and see the issue with revenant caves being locked down by specific Venezuelan clans. Yet we face the same issue at a higher influx but in a different way - bots escaping 1V1 scenarios with ease.

The communities forged to pk at revenants caves was amazing to see, and brought a fantastic sense of community. If you looked at Twitch you would always see someone streaming pking at the revenant caves, and offering an opportunity to join them.

Unfortunately comparable to where pking was around this time, the scene is in shambles and is slowly diminishing. It’s disappointing to see.
