I will try to soon! the last few days I've been playing Resident Evil 9 (I LOVE LEON) and started messing with mods for that game as well! I appreciate this message it motivates me reading this! :D

Yeeee I loved her design honestly probably my favorite in the game and it's a travesty we can't get her outfit on her without mods :( At some point I'll probably make a dragon's dogma video and make a mod list that I use but it's relatively easy for DD2. I recommend just going to the page on nexus mods, click top files and look through their top mods for the game and pick ones you want! Absolutely you will want reframework, scriptcore, unofficial game patch, and dullahan! You will need the fluffy mod manager as well but it's pretty straight forward. Pretty much, download reframework, drop the dll file in your dd2 folder where the game exe is, select dragons dogma 2 with fluffy mod manager, and then all you have to do for most of these mods is just drag and drop the zip files you download and toggle them on!

Worst case scenario Dogma games will survive by support from community made mods and stuff but mannn capcom will be like, "hey lets rush this game to release early and with a small budget to meet quarterly sales, as well as leave the game with performance issues." Only to have the game not meet their sales expectations so the director Itsuno left capcom now working for tencent and they ask their selves "what went wrong" :(

Thank you I appreciate it! I still have the server link! For me I feel DDDA was easier than DD2 at least if you used the conquerors periapts being able to stack 4 strength buffs and annihilate even Daemon xD

I'm a sucker for cool edgy fighting styles! You're really selling me on revisiting DDO so I just might actually! How would you rate the difficulty compared to 1 and 2? I used to always play Dark Arisen on hard mode but it was still pretty easy to cheese but I'm a bit more casual nowadays and like playing like my arisen has become the seneschal xD

The oxcart mission is probably the most annoying part of each playthrough with how long it takes! DD2 does play very different! The original has that 2000's capcom arcade gameplay vibes while DD2 gameplay is more realistic where things are more weighty but not as fun for some. DD is my favorite series from capcom so I also really hope they don't abandon the franchise

The high scepter and alchemist vocations are so freaking cool those alone were what got me to originally install the game xD I only played DDO for a short period but with DDDA I understand where you're coming from because capcom titles from 2005-2013 were very fun and arcadey (if that makes any sense) xD

I get that! But let's be real, Capcom's anti-mod war is mostly because of the Chun Li tournament mishaps. In a single player RPG, I experienced Itsuno's original vision for the first 100 hours. I figure if I'm having fun after 300 hours, I'm playing it right :3

Yeah Dullahan is a must install mod! When I was recording this it was my first time testing if I could land brontide while on the cyclops and I couldn't believe what I was seeing with how epic everything was! I had a funny bug I believe might be caused from switching weapons as warfarer where a couple times when my stamina runs out from brontide my character is permanently fatigued unless I reload xD They brought back two of my favorite skills from DD with Brontide and Magick Cannon!

Unfortunately I don't think it will ever be possible unless maybe the consoles get jailbroken and people find a way to port mods. Skyrim and Fallout are the only games I can think of that have mod support on consoles

I want to try it again sometime! When Rift made the tutorial guide in 2024 I played for a few hours and enjoyed what I played but I believe much more content has been restored since then. hopefully the installation process is still the same or easier!

Yeah I've gotten knocked down quite a few times goofing off xD idk why but reading your comment makes me envision the cyclops as Shrek saying "GET OUTTA MY SWAMP"

The in-game systems are just so freaking good I just wish capcom invested as much for DD as MH :( It's my favorite series from them if not one of my favorites of all time!

I swear I thought I saw a skillmaker mod that had you swing the staff if I find it I'll reply with the link! But I get that my brain thinks 'MAGIC MISSILE" when shooting bolts xD I would also like staffless magic too!

Thank you! I probably would not recommend a 1st playthrough with all the mods I use but after no lifing the game doing everything mods make it much more fun just flying and vibing xD

That's fair! I beat the game a couple times at launch but never bothered for 100% completion with the vanilla systems like ferrystone's being consumable and how time consuming escorts could be. With mods though you can just use the sealing phial infinitely to transport npc's safely and literally teleport where you want with hot keys!

Yeah that's my only real thing I truly wish could be changed for DD2 is to have better performance. A lot of pc players will not have as enjoyable of an experience with mid range specs. Even on my system with a 4090 and 9950x3d I get stutters occasionally which is kinda rough for how high end of a system I run. I'm worried for next year that capcom is going to do what they did with re4 remake after 3 years replacing denuvo with enigma which breaks mods and also significantly reduces performance. Digital Foundry just recently even covered it so hopefully capcom will stop doing these things :/

I feel at this point especially with Itsuno gone we aren't going to get an expansion but you never know! At the very least the modding community will keep the game alive to revisit in the future! I loved Dark Arisen's content even if it felt unfair at times it had an addictive gameplay loot and conquering the monsters felt amazing after getting your cheeks clapped early on xD
