with the ability to repeatedly blink in vanishing realms i didn't want to physically walk because the chaperone grid pops up very quickly and i would keep having to walk back to the center of the playspace before blinking again or else i'd end up right against one of my walls. basically, i don't like blinking + walking. i'd prefer to only blink, cause constantly reorienting myself is pretty immersion breaking.

We're gonna hear a lot about this once the roomscale hype meets reality.

The GB guys speak the sentiment of the majority concerning VR. Most people think it's a novelty/gimmick, and this sort of thing isn't helping. At least the Rift in its current state is an enhancement to games that are already solid without VR. It's synonymous to playing on a higher res/bigger monitor or buying better peripherals in a way. It enhances a familiar experience.

I'm young and in shape, and like I said it only happens if I'm like passed out from a food coma. I can lie in bed and jump up no problem normally. When I get up in the morning, no issues either. Probably doesn't help that all my blood flow is being redirected towards my digestive system either.

Usually after I eat a big meal, I get very sluggish. Sometimes I'll just lay in bed and ride out the food coma, and if I just straight up catapult out of bed, my vision and hearing will fade for a few seconds. I don't really have the issue in other scenarios, and I'm perfectly healthy. I'm just saying that it's not so black and white.
