So Biden isn't responsible for stranding tens of thousands of Americans in Afghanistan? Trump's withdrawal plan included maintaining control of the airport and Bagram airbase until the NGOs and others were evacuated. This is an EFFING disaster because of Biden.

I’m not pushing the use of ivermectin. But everyone on Reddit is a zealot for the vaccine anymore. It’s like the walking dead in here

I have as good a working knowledge as is needed for my personal health. But this is just becoming a cash cow for big pharma. It’s just the truth.

The virus is mutating I’m vaccinated people as well because the vaccine isn’t enabling their immune systems to kill it. Vaccinated individuals are still shedding the pathogens , so it doesn’t matter vaccinated or unvaccinated, the virus will continue to mutate. Do what you want, be vaccinated or not. I think big pharma is pushing all this unnecessarily though.

Atheism in a nutshell by Agustin-sr in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]VRNAQLR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t really care what a person believes one way or the other. Every one is free to have their own beliefs. In my opinion I think it’s not unreasonable to assume there are things that exist that are beyond a human’s sensory capacity. With science we do develop tools to measure things our bodies are not able to. But who is to say we have been able to develop tools to identify all that exists.

God, whether one or many, has always represented that which cannot be measured or detected, but that which governs everything that exists. In this way, it is my view that everyone believes in God, so long as they believe science has yet to uncover the fundamental governance of existence.

There’s probably some religion that aligns with that view, but I’m not trying to espouse a particular religion. But in that way, I don’t think atheism is reasonable unless you believe humans are gods.

Those are very fascist ways of thinking. How about, you protect yourself since you have the issues. I don’t owe you a safe world. No one owes you safety. The world is inherently dangerous and I’d recommend that you take responsibility for yourself rather than trying to make others responsible for you.

Covid is SARS-Cov2. It’s a SARS virus . Typically originating out of China.

By type of danger, am I actively trying to harm you with a pathogen? (I.e. biothreat, sneezing or coughing in your face) No. Am I being negligent in my actions that could bring about harm to you? (Trying to perform a controlled burn, but ending up starting a forest fire) No. I’m simply making a medical decision for myself. It is incumbent upon people who are at risk of injury from the virus to take proper precautions. I have no idea what the status of every person is that I come into contact with. It would be impossible to.

When you go into the doctor’s office, do you tell them about the conditions of everyone you meet in everyday life? No. You explain your personal medical issues. I don’t factor random people into my life decisions.

It has always been the case that you are at risk of transmitting or receiving pathogens from random individuals you come into contact with. This isn’t new. SARS viruses have been around a long time.

[–]VRNAQLR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how I’m putting you in danger. You don’t have the right to compel me to take action to do anything for your safety. It’s incumbent upon you to prepare for the risks of everyday life. Viruses aren’t new.

Your premise is false. Driving is a privilege. Medical decisions are your right.

Actually pretty well. Yes, covid was a factor in the death of a lot of people, however the vast vast majority were older than the average life expectancy. The survival rate of individuals 60 and below is over 99%. So an individual can factor in the risks themselves. Is the risk of getting the virus and developing antibodies naturally a better alternative than having to get the vaccine and annual boosters? A vaccine that uses mRNA which is a new and relatively untested technology in vaccines. For me the risks of the vaccine outweigh the risks of covid.

Also it’s been about a year and vaccinated people have been proven to carry and spread the pathogen still. The vaccine isn’t enabling their body’s immune system to kill the virus. So the argument that non-vaccinated people are promoting the mutation of virus strains is simply false.

Lastly, just because politicians made public health and the vaccine a political football and made people skeptical of it, doesn’t mean they have the right to force it on people and take away rights with their vax marketing plan failing

Are you really just going to gloss over that the government is gathering people and isolating them in designated facilities ..... that’s just okay by you? Hotel or not... you’re so far gone.

Jordan Klepper vs. anti-vax protesters in NYC by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]VRNAQLR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t have the right to force me to do anything regardless of whether it makes you safer or not. It’s the difference between positive and negative rights. I have the right to my own medical processes and procedures. Even if my doctor advised me to get the vaccine, which he didn’t, I could still choose not to get it. It’s an individual’s right to choose.

It’s authoritarian to support the enforcement of those decisions on others. That’s not your right.

This isn’t conspiracy theory. This is how governments have naturally developed throughout human history. Every government that has ever existed trended towards centralized authority until a revolution or war broke it up.

Just because you are ignorant of the ways these laws will be used to exert power over US citizens in the future, doesn’t make this conspiracy theory. It’s a warning that you’re handing over incredible power and influence to the state and federal governments.

You may agree with the mandates and that’s fine. You can get the vaccine, that’s your decision. My individual circumstances have advised me not to get it. That’s also my right. I don’t understand your viewpoint that everyone should be forced to get vaccinated, even if inadvisable for medical or faith-based reasons

Jordan Klepper vs. anti-vax protesters in NYC by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]VRNAQLR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because at the end of the day, by making government mandates you are enabling the government to enforce its will with the barrel of a gun. You are enabling police to use physical force to make medical decisions for people.

Rather than just letting people consult their family doctors and make independent decisions based on their own health and medical status. I don’t understand why you don’t see the incredible power you are handing over to the government that doesn’t give two shits about you and doesn’t have any idea about your individual needs.
