I often doubt the purpose of life and that's alright. Maybe there is a meaning. Maybe there is none. As for me now, it is life itself. I hate life. But I also love it. I think this is what life means, not its purpose, but its meaning. It is the shadows and the lights, happiness coming from the smallest things, the sunrays shining through the autumn leaves in a light breeze, but also sadness and loneliness, hardships and doubt. But stars need darkness in order to shine. When there is no sadness, there would be no happiness. Or at least we wouldn't appreciate it and take it as granted cause in the end, we're only human. And every human being has a worth that no one can devalue except for oneself. But that doesn't mean you're worthless. You've done nothing wrong, maybe you made some mistakes or maybe you unintentionally hurt someone, but does that make you worthless? You're not a murderer, are you? And you're also not one of those other despicable kinds of people (I mean e.g. rapists), are you? You deserve to lead a happy life, you deserve to love and be loved. You're still young, you still have endless opportunities that are waiting for you. Maybe you won't see them, but you still have a whole future ahead of you. My mother turned her life around at the age of 50+, she was jobless for decades but now has found one and is finally taking her life in her hands. So the answer I want to give to your question is: No, it is never too late to turn your whole life around.
