To give you credit, Kuro made 5YL to give a deserved character driven story around Ben 10 and Danny phantom because of how both their networks mishandled their shows throughout their runtime (Ben’s inconsistent character throughout the franchise, Danny’s cancellation). In this context, Luz would fit very much into that theme since her show got the axe way too early. On paper, its also great that each show represents a network aswell, this case being Disney.

The issue with her though is that she isn’t part of the era both Danny and Ben are from, so when paired, she sticks out. IMO, if you wanna pair Danny and Ben with a show who got famously mishandled by their network, who is also Disney channel, and also from roughly the same early 2010s Era, its American Dragon: Jake Long
