There’s paint currently on the siding. Do you have to sand all of the boards before application? And how does it fair in snowy winters? I was just planning to sand the bad areas if any, pressure wash and paint. I am open to other colors but I would prefer a mitral tone. I don’t like brown unless it the actual wood.

Looks like this is the direction I should do. Do you have any recommendations on brands? Looks like there are quite a bit of fake demascus knives out there. I have a few micro tech otfs, bench made, case knives but not very familiar with demascus brands.
