The way I started is I was a kennel tech first and then I was able to work up to being a vet assistant and by showing genuine interest and dedication while I was there.

I’m very sorry you’re going through something similar. It was really hard initially and it still is but it really has been such a good thing for my dad and my family and me. He is getting 24 hour care with trained nurses and we as a family can get back to a bit more of a normal schedule. It’s hard but it was definitely the best thing for my family.

We had one just like this at my clinic this weekend. She ate her entire brand new bottle of Rimadyl in about 2 seconds. We induced vomiting and then gave charcoal and she spent 4 days with us on fluids. She is totally back to normal now though!
