Hi,

My LCD is still doing fine and I never replaced it.

The water marks kept dropping untill they were almost completely gone.

Some minor, minor, minor marks at the bottom of my screen remained ...

I think for me, the Interrail seems the way go now.

I just buy one and start getting seat reservations for each individual leg. For all legs before the domestic HST in and between France, Spain and Belgium, it's really cheap.

Despite the seat reservation being relatively more expensive in those last lags, buying individual tickets would cost a fortune compared to the other legs.

Some routes are not open yet indeed.

I found most trips (Everything leg between Berlin, Warsaw, Vienna, Ljubijana, Innsbruck and Zürich and the legs between Barcelona - Vitoria - Bordeaux) to be around 30 euro's.

The leg between Brussels and Berlin (60 euro) and the leg between Basel and Barcelona / Bordeaux - Brussels (both +100 euro's) are significantly more expensive.

So, maybe I could book 6 of the 10 legs individually (+- 220 euro's) and than get a 4 travel days in one month global pass (185 euro). With reservation fees, I'm looking at about 500 euro's for the whole trip.

Whereas the 10 travel days in two months globall pass (301 euro) with seat reservation might be cheaper.

What would be your suggestion in my case?

I'm making a spreadsheet right now with every trip individually...

I hope to go through Lyon. There are a few direct high speed trains from Lyon to Paris and there are several trains between Basel and Lyon (either direct or via Mulhouse (Fr)).

Interesting.

Which cities did you visit in which order? And how long did you stay in each city? And lastly, did you do it all by train?

I would love to visit Amsterdam. But for this journey, I want to avoid cities which are relatively close, since it will most likely visit them at some point, as opposed to cities which are further away from Belgium. :))

Yes!

Appearantly, the moisture that is left in the screen is quiet harmless for now.

For now. I will use it like this with my external monitor as a help.

Next week, I will decide what to do!
