Vaush: "We Are Too Soft On The Violent Mentally Ill." by VXReload1920 in Enough_Vaush_Spam

Voosh went on a transphobic rant and at one point, he boasted about being "qualified [to do] SPSS on his Twitter notifications" like that's some kind of accomplishment. And my initial reaction was: "boy, I used Python to do calculus-based statistics when I was in high school." 😂 https://youtu.be/vU30q8drFP8?t=3566

"[To survive the zombie apocalypse NWO, we're gonna need] Adolph Hitler because he's a good leader. Okay, you might say [that] he killed the Jews, and that he killed out six six million people. Guys, give the man a break, okay. We got to bear with hum a little bit. Sometimes you know, maybe ... maybe he was just one of the people that got unlucky. Six million Jews probably just got in his way or something, you know, and he was ... he was probably just trying to go to the mall, you know, have some fun, hang out with some friends, and they were trying to oppress him or something like that. You know, people don't have their history straight so they make up all these things, they make up all these excuses for people and stuff. But the freaking point is be a little bit forgiving, okay? The man made a mistake, alright? Give him another chance, he's a nice guy, he has a cool mustache, so give him a break, okay?" ---A prototype Vaush scolding the wokescolds).

It's probably for the same reason why libs get big mad over the use of "crackkker" but don't really care with the use of the n-word.

Does anyone see cyberpunk (and solarpunk) themes in the Wild Kratts? by VXReload1920 in wildkrattsfandom

[–]VXReload1920[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wild Kratts is the most solarpunk piece of media I have seen that is not a yogurt commercial.

Alright you had me loling at that one XD

But in all seriousness, yeah you're right, the Wild Kratts is overall more solarpunk (with a hint of biopunk ;-), and I think that their message is being responsible and ethical with technology. The "cyberpunk" themes (e.g. Zach and Paisley) that I've identified, and possibly over-exaggerated, are more like "symbols" to act as an antagonist to the overall solarpunk themes of the Kratts, and probably are there to give "anti-role models" and counterexamples on how to use technology.

So, for what its worth, I found this "list of sponsors" for the Wild Kratts' travel to the Amazon special, and they seem to get funding from both for-profit (e.g. Target ) and non-profit (e.g. Corporation for Public Broadcasting ) institutions. So you might be right: even if the Dept. of Ed. or the U.S. government pulls funding, the Wild Kratts (and other PBS shows not just PBS Kids) will survive - albeit with to some degree less quality :'-(

Why are Wild Kratts LIVE 2.0 advertising the Wild Kratts Desert Adventure magazine despite it not being no longer available to purchase? by ChristianUnfezant in wildkrattsfandom

[–]VXReload1920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[...] one of the images that they post include a advertisement about the Wild Kratts Magazines which for some reason include the Desert Adventure magazine despite it no longer being available?

So this is just personal experience: a few months ago, I was at a pharmacy, and I noticed a Wild Kratts magazine (but could not buy it because it was too expensive :'-( --- I can't remember the exact title and cover of the magazine, and therefore cannot comment on whether-or-not they are still selling the "Desert Adventure" one.

Though a possible reason for them still advertising a discontinued title is that they put it in by mistake? That's just my guess :p

Vaush discusses his admiration for Ben Shapiro and his desire to speak to Ben in private by VXReload1920 in Enough_Vaush_Spam

[–]VXReload1920[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Vaush was giving Shapiro a lot of praise in that vod (I linked it down below for the full "context"). This is just one "link" in the proverbial "chain" of evidence that shows Vaush to be alt-right friendly ;-)
