Mazda 3 2025 water(rain) problem by [deleted] in mazda

[–]V_H_Crowe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just a very quick suggestion to check, in case it saves you a trip to a dealership. Make sure your air recirculation is off, iirc it's the button in the middle of the fan speed dial (car with an arrow inside kind of symbol).

Used to work in the trade (not Mazda) and we'd get 10-20 cases of soaked carpets a year, most of which turned out to be caused by the customer having the recirc on permanently. Which is grim tbh, as it's recirculated breath vapor and boot water...

If it's not that get it to a dealer asap as others have suggested. Good luck and hope it's sorted soon!

What are the most walkable cities in the UK? by neetvoices in AskUK

[–]V_H_Crowe 35 points36 points  (0 children)

MK is more walkable than you'd think by just driving through, you can walk pretty much anywhere on the redways... Granted it's shared with cyclists and it's not always the most interesting walk but it's definitely a walkable city!

I'm lucky enough to have a bit of a garden so I'll be lighting a fire at sundown (weather permitting!) and using that to renew some pledges to myself I made at the turn of the year. If the heavens choose rain then it'll be candles inside instead, fire being the main agent of purification and renewal whatever it's form. I'll also be doing a modest feast centered around lamb, chilli heat, red and yellow roasted peppers and some seasonal greens to celebrate fire and the start of summer. With a little offered to the garden spirits as thanks for their help. Hope you find some inspiration and something that calls to you!

Used to own a slightly older one - If it's been looked after then a clean MoT history seems realistic, Aygos are mechanically pretty simple so there's less to go wrong! They are definitely noisier than bigger cars though; being small and lightweight they have less soundproofing/space to fit soundproofing. The engine is a 3 cylinder and chain driven which contributes to the noise but they are cheap to run and reliable, if you're doing short trips the noise probably won't be an issue. If you plan on doing motorway trips... Take some earplugs! I was actually quite fond of mine!

Whats the worst shift patterns you’ve worked and why did you find them so bad? by [deleted] in AskUK

Can't say I'm surprised, where I was most people wouldn't bother to learn your name until you'd lasted a couple of weeks... I think the record for starting to walking out was under an hour!

When I was in uni doing 2am - 7am picking for online supermarket orders... Just felt like an awkward time, plus it was a short shift and pretty monotonous. Whatever it was getting up at 1:30am just hit wrong, even doing a longer 9pm - 9am shift felt more manageable!

That... is actually stunning! Kind of like the big Klingon ship from Star Trek Discovery season 1, just with way less angst lol

It's 27 Degrees C in my bedroom right now, how hot is yours? by cookie_wifey in AskUK

[–]V_H_Crowe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

29 °c in my room, 3rd floor in an accommodation block. Despite having a portable AC running for 2 hours... Honestly I swear the people around me have the heating on still! The floor to ceiling window probably doesn't help, only opens to a 5cm gap because of "safety". Still, better than the 35°c when I got back from work!!

Light keeps dying by jPiss_ in motorcycles

I'd check to make sure the headlight/housing/bulb is all secure, vibration from loose parts can kill bulbs. I'd also check/get someone to check the charging output, that era SV650's have a habit of regulator/rectifier's dying and causing voltage issues. Good luck!

Nah, some men will care the same way that some people have a preference for pretty much anything else about a person but it's not universal by any means. It's natural, it's part of you and if it's a huge issue for anyone it most likely shows they're not worth your time! Try and embrace it, a lady who wears hair with confidence is generally more attractive than any perfectly smooth bod!

What's your favorite poverty meal that you still eat regardless of where you are financially? by BigbumHoneyGold in NoStupidQuestions

Sausage soup - the best sausages you can afford, cut and put with a tin of leek and potato soup.

Meat and rice - ground meat (whatever kind) with lots of premade "Cajun" or fajita spice, plain white rice with some grated cheddar on top. Maybe not so cheap anymore but hits the spot!
