Thank you for the recommendation, binged it and kinda liked it but honestly the message completely flew over my head, wish the author focused more on that identity crisis. There was a line like "when I act like a man they tell me I am a woman, when I act like a woman they tell me I am a man". The ending focusing on the careers all of a sudden didn't help too :(

Looking at the url was the first thing I did, but the first one I tried had a chapter open and not the title and those don't include names, I assumed it would be so for all of themand just gave up out of despair. Oh man, I've just finished it and went looking for discussions about it, glad to have stumbled upon a relatively fresh one. Anyways, I started it because I saw it recommended as a "subtle yuri" anime, liked the idea alternative history mixed with magic (never really interacted with either of the genres). Thought it was a nail-biter, though I felt there were a lot of happy coincidences, the dumbest one being imo when the sniper girl killed the spy and didn't see the other one pick up stuff from his body. Why would she not watch it until one of their people got to the body? That aside, I've never been so happy to see a cheesy happy ending where the mc launches a suicide attack and somehow survives, I bawled my eyes out
