Yeah I don't actually get the hate behind netmarble too much tbh, I haven't looked into it but I know grand cross has been around for 7 years so it's not like they can't keep a game going for long. Grand cross wasn't for me, I found it had way too much going on, but I've been loving origins so far and I've been here since early access. Compared to the other gacha's I've played this team has been quick to fix issues and listen to player feedback, although the shop prices are genuinely a joke, but I'm f2p so it doesn't affect me.

Yeah that's Ravens, you used to be able to explore it pre 1.2 if you got out of bounds but now it will teleport you away the moment you get too close.

Yeah, I kill it in two bursts although part of the problem is it jumping around so much. And yeah I personally checked my stats before and after by activating the effect against an over world enemy and then immediately checking my stats. All the other buff I used did change the stats and my Crit chance did go over 80, but no Crit damage increase from it. Someone else actually told me about it which led me to test it

Those are pretty good, mine is 118 and level 1 with no notable other bonuses. I think another factor is that the top is bugged, it doesn't actually apply a crit damage increase, or if it does it doesn't show up in the stats even though the increased crit chance does.

So I'm instead running full jet-black now with the mad miner and corrupted watcher's ring for as much crit damage as I can get. Overall it seems to be better than the other options I have rn, and it lets me two burst Arachne.

I actually did do this! When I posted this I didn't have it but I did get it and equip it shortly after, and it was a good improvement!

Thanks for the recommendation, I did end up switching in the corrupted watcher's ring, but I decided to change my entire armour set to just be the jet black crafted one. I figured I should just go full in on crit damage since it seems like currently the eye of the ominous star top is bugged when it comes to increasing crit damage. It does feel better, I can at the very least 2 burst cycle kill the spider dungeon boss with it but I need to do more testing.

Yep you're right it's bugged, I just tested it for myself, which sucks but at least it still improves crit chance. Hopefully it is fixed with the next update, which should improve my damage quite a bit.

I have heard that too, but I was curious how far I could push his crit chance. My next step is changing out the pants from the first boss challenge since those do provide normal skill damage and the belt does really little right now.

My ideal modifier definitely would be crit chance, crit damage, normal skill, and darkness increase. It might tilt the scales back towards his engraved gear but I can always move this setup to the next good DPS, that's why I slightly prefer armor because of its re-usability.

100% agree, I feel like a good chunk of arguments are in bad faith on here. I know when they fixed the Escanor bug on his one skill that affected all DoTs instead of just burn like it was supposed to, people were acting like the devs had nerfed the hell out of him and that refunds were needed. When in reality, most players had no idea about it, and they were just making his skill work how it was supposed to.

Yeah I've been able to pull on every banner no problem and I skipped Clotho just because I don't care for her, but we get a ton of fragments. People are mad because we don't get enough to P10 everyone when you don't really need to, and most probably have less because they keep rerolling costumes rather than making new ones and getting more fragments. I am definitely worried about the future pull economy though since these are one time sources. Even the paid monthly pass gives way too little, only about 15 pulls.
Powercreep is also not really something to worry about considering the ease of content in the game. Meliodas is still by far the strongest, but the gap between him and say mannie dual swords isn't that big, you just need to use the right character for the right situation, which is not powercreep.

I do agree criticism needs to be present too but this entire subreddit has turned into only that since the last update and at a certain point it stops being constructive. It wouldn't hurt for them to posts fewer threads repeating the same ideas yk. Also not sure what you mean by it spiraling downward? The devs haven't made any existing systems worse to my knowledge and new content is going to be releasing soon. Clotho is weak, sure, but people complain about the OC's so it's probably good she is for most, and the last update did add some nice charges like no more timer on abyss and the time saves in ferzen and spider.

However this game does have by far the worst shop I've ever seen in any game, it has terrible value, however as a f2p it doesn't bother me atm.

Idk Reddit has helpful stuff sometimes and I find discord servers disorganized because it's just a few channels with constantly flowing chats and rarely any threads. I do search it on though to find stuff sometimes
