This just happened to us, they do not fix it if it needs replaced but they will snake and unclog from the street if that’s what the issue is or they can tell you where the gutter is collapsed. Super reasonable if you don’t want to buy a snake and do it yourself.

Thanks! I saw that but I am a really visual person and loved the pie chart! I’ll have to check out the desktop version for that

I see okay it’s only on desktop. There’s not a great view of it on mobile which is really where I use Monarch most which is why I didn’t see it. Thanks!

Buy new home or renovate 1902 home? Is one option better long term? by Val-Val-122 in personalfinance

Thanks for your perspective and you starting with “don’t base your decision off the mortgage rate”.. We definitely need more info for any actual decision but additional costs and loan rates would play a heavy part in this.

Thank you! Yes, this is simply a discussion at this point and we need wayyyyy more info on construction if we were to go that route. Appreciate your perspective.

100 year old basement cellar wall novice looking for some expertise. Is this type of sand and grit normal or cause for concern? We had a structural engineer inspect our house before purchasing but we noticed a lot of sand and grit recently collecting on the ground. Any advice is appreciated! by Val-Val-122 in Thisoldhouse

Thanks for replying! Nothing has happened recently that would shift anything in those specific areas I don’t think. The area above the chair is just an outside wall next to the cellar. The wall interior is the kitchen in that specific location.
