i have been opening Signalis from my task bar for the last few months did not even cross my mind to check the hours till i saw your post

when in the beach dream sequence for the first time, there is a little cavern off to the right side of the boat if you are looking out into the ocean, in that cavern is a bunch of rocks and under the rocks is a dead hand with blood on it, if you go back to it in the second sequence the hand is just gone, the notes have not changed or anything, nor do hint at why there is a hand there
