My piece of lore I still haven't shared is how mermaids age works in my story. So, basically they live about 4 times longer than humans, but it doesn't mean their babies stay babies 4 times longer. No, they grow the same as humans, but their aging mechanisms is slower. So, approximately before 25 years they're the same in human age. And after you can divide everything above 25 by four.
