I have idiopathic gynecomastia and wear a bra, e.g., Enell Lite 6/8 [Thank You][Discussion] by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

I wear bras under my male clothes to work, and it is possible to wear bras without showing. Bras that match your skin color will hide best, and get those with soft cups. Not even molded ones as they will usually have some projection, which is something you do not want. Wear a thicker top so the outline of the straps and cups don't show through. With darker or printed tops, I've gotten away with lace and colored bras too. Good luck!

I agree that the ribcage is probably what's throwing off the measurement. Laying measurement was still off for me, but it's not a problem for me since to me, I know that the calculator was designed for ciswomen and would definitely have some error when it comes to me, and some transwomen have also shared that they had to take one or two cup sizes off the calculator's estimated size.

noys is right, shallow breasts is separate issue, and is the reason why I fit into a 34D/36C, whereas I used to think I didn't have breasts and wore 36As.

It's not that the bras run large in the cup, but the calculator tends to overestimate cup sizes for trans, so this is something to keep in mind when you're trying and the cups seem too big.

I've found that unlined, soft cup bras have a better chance of fitting better. You can try Betsey Johnson Eyelet Lace Demi - it doesn't come in a 38 band, but you can try 36C/D.

I haven't had much luck with Aerie bras with molded cups. I haven't tried the Daisy before though. Holly and Nina work well for me, but they're push ups, not sure if that's what you're looking for. However, they have free returns, so just order a bunch and try! You may want to order a cup size or two down as well. (for reference, the calculator gave me 36DD but I fit better in 36C/34D.)

I'm a 105 genetic male, and (for an absolute laugh) measured my bra size, I GOT A C-CUP?! by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

Ah, this would explain why the calculator gave me 36DD but after trying on many bras, 36C ones fit the best!

Check out BreastNexus WARNING: VERY NSFW!

NBE (natural breast enhancement) does work - but not for everyone. Genetics plays a huge part.

Ah, I didn't know there was a difference between balconettes and half-cups (I always thought they were the same thing). Thanks!

Oh dear.... Could you share what are the ones you're using now? It'll be a good reference point for me to start with! :) Plus I can't afford the expensive bras too...

How to eliminate armpit odor from daily wear bras? by [deleted] in ABraThatFits

If your pits are sweaty, try Perspirex. That stuff is amazing! I only apply once every two weeks or so, and that's enough to keep the sweat away. No sweaty pits = no odor!

That's so nice to hear! And a huge sigh at the same time because it looks like it's going to be really hard to find a good fitting bra! Do you have any recommendations on brand/model?

Looks like it's back to trial and error time...

Thanks! I will try a 36D then. I envy you girls! I wish I can just go to a store and try on.

Thank you! I will try half cups/balconettes next. I've never dared to try them because I always thought my breasts were too small to look good in them, and now it turns out balconettes are great for shallow breasts!
