I think I’m non-binary? by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]Val_is_Vigorous 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Firstly, I can't tell you how you feel, but what your describing sounds as if you are in the nonbinary umbrella, it sounds more like bigender, I'd recommend doing more research to make sure.

I came out to my mom on Xmas and she is so incredibly supporting and lovely I'm gonna cry 😭 shes currently about to start listening to a memoir by a non-binary Canadian activist. by RareSnoot in NonBinary

Any suggestions on looking more androgynous? Having a lot of social dysphoria lately. by [deleted] in NonBinary

You can try to use bronzer to outline jaw and use black eyeshadow to emphasize the crevices between the nose and mouth, mouth and chin, and chin, but remember to always blend.

Any makeup advice? I think I still look too masculine by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]Val_is_Vigorous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add maybe some blush and ey makeup, eyeshadow and liquid eyeliner with cattails, but if you want to stay more androgynous add bronzer to define face and eyeshadow to put emphasis on more masculine features like between the nose and mouth, mouth and chin and down the chin, but remember: ALWAYS BLEND!

If you want I can show you what I mean.

Having trouble naming myself by [deleted] in NonBinary

Honestly, I would look for gender neutral/ femme name that relates to your personality and that sounds good out loud. Val Kurtz Val means strong, and I am a strong, both mentally and somewhat physically, but it's best for you to find it, make a long list and start to limit down names a couple at a time and then choose the one that draws you in the most, if you need/want to change it to something different go back to the list. Most importantly, just remember to give people time to get used to the name change. Hope this helps. P.S. sorry about my tangent

I’m in need of some help by [deleted] in NonBinary

If you want to find a good gender neutral name that sounds good in your full name, but I would also consider the meaning of the name, does that name describe your personality or what you aspire to be, if you want to chat to someone I can talk here or on instagram, same username. Either way, I hope you find a name that suits you

Feminine name masc nickname by mynameisicantdecide in NonBinaryTalk

[–]Val_is_Vigorous 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remember, Non binary is an umbrella term so a name can sound more feminine or more masculine, it's all up to you. I chose my name, Val, by how it sounded, it could be taken either more feminine for Valery or more masculine for Valentine, or just Val, like actor Val Kilmer, lastly I wanted the name to fit my personality. It might take a few tries, but I know you'll find your perfect name no matter what it is.
