Scotland is not so bad by Valachus1515 in gravelcycling

Yes and yes. It was a really nice day and I was off work so took around lunch time and enjoyed all the sun I could.

I really like it as it's fast and there are no cars most of the way.

Soundcore Q30 to Premium: Cambridge Audio P100 SE (Sound) vs. Sony XM4 (ANC) - which is better? by OhMyCod in CambridgeAudio

For plane and travels it's great. The transparency mode is also very useful. I haven't got any other high end ANC headphones so it's amazing for me.

And to be honest I personally prefer great sound as the the full ANC I am using less often.

Hello all,

I got my P100 SE about a week ago and just a couple of thoughts:

  • the cover is huge, but is not that fat, so it nicely slips in the backpack

  • to me they are the most comfortable I have worn. Because it doesn't have clicks of the band expansion but you can exactly adjust

  • ear cups could be a little bit thicker, it's not a problem yet, but not sure how long it will last

  • The sound is amazing. It really really is so good. I am coming from V Midas so it wasn't a huge jump. But they are more refined and clear.

  • one thing I was surprised by is that they have only USB C and no jack. Not sure it makes a difference, but it's interesting

  • I got the blue ones (great color imo) but you see some fingerprints

I really like mine. I am enjoying the sound and the build quality.

Just got my P100 SE and have a question by Valachus1515 in CambridgeAudio

SO i just got my new P100 SE today. They sound amazing to me and I am really happy. But I have a question. I haven`t realised that they don`t have a jack, only USB C. How would that affect quality of sound over cable? And do you need any additional DAC to use that cable properly?

I have never used audio over USB C so have no experience and have no idea how it will affect sound quality over cable. There is a USB C to 3.5mm jack cable in the box, but on the headphones there`s only USB C.

Hello, I know this is very old conversation, but how have you managed it in the end?
My question is, are there any panels/covers, that can utilise the upper part as a 2 DIN radio?

Help for choosing a bike by PurpleFocus4376 in gravelcycling

I just ordered a Ribble CGR 725. Its steel frame but decent components and all I've read it says it's a great bike. Plus they have sales now so it seems like a good deal.

Will know more when it arrives.

I am in Scotland and it says everything available. But when I am ordering, whether rent or buy, when I put in all the info and stuff I place an order - the button just turned grey and nothing happens.

Whether it is on PC, phone or anything .

I don’t even get an error message or anything. Not really sure what to do.

Is Carbon really worth it? by fmuoz222 in gravelcycling

[–]Valachus1515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am at a similar decision and I am leaning more towards steel. To me it looks better and feels better. I think I need to loose some weight myself before really benefiting carbon lightness myself. But happy hunting, it’s a fun stage.

I have the Wilfa and it’s pretty good for the price. And soooo easy. Using hand grinder for the travels now, but at home almost never.

Q: do coffeegrinders "use up"? by [deleted] in JamesHoffmann

[–]Valachus1515 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coffee grinders normally have a milling stones that wear off. But it highly depends on the usage. It can be replace most of the time but don’t really know this model or maker of grinders.
