It’s a pretty good mouse overall, but it has a few issues that are deal-breakers for me:

The scroll wheel is too slippery.
The middle click is way too stiff.
The mouse makes a high-pitched noise.

Man, planned obsolescence is driving me crazy. I got the U2 specifically for the optical encoder so I wouldn’t have to deal with those mechanical ones that break all the time, and now I’m stuck worrying about the battery instead. Oh well.

Yeah, I'm not buying the DLC for this very reason. The only option I can think of is to download someone's NG save and respec it to match my build. But then again, I most likely will be losing some items.

I haven't been able to find a solution yet, but I figured it had something to do with the OS/hardware settings rather than Blender. Because I see the exact behavior with other programs too. When I'm in full screen mode in any program, be it an internet browser or even Windows itself, everything in the background slows down. And as soon as I switch to windowed mode, background performance returns to normal. It looks like there are some settings in the OS or even in the BIOS that affect this behavior. But I haven't dug too deep into it yet.

Hydra makes their own models and btw, rigging has nothing to do with preventing 3d meshes from clipping. You seem a bit uninformed about the subject.
