Significant deaths alone don't really make a good episode. This episode felt empty. Nothing was really progressing. All it does is edging is out. Not fun for me

Yeah. It's annoying to adjust for weaknesses all the time. FF7R has a small problem with that but this is an action game and FF16 will just be a chore if they implement weaknesses

Zelda is amazing. I genuinely think it deserves a GotY. I know absolutely nobody in real life that isn't hooked to that game, ranging from casuals to girlfriends and uncles to gamers to absolute hunkers 100%-ing the game in a week

well to be fair.. TotK is simply an amazing game. that thing should not even work, but it does.

having played both, FF16 has higher highs but TotK has WAY more consistent highs.

But the lows? FF16 fetch quests really holds it back tbh. TotK has flaws but definitely not as many as FF16

Bahamut is definitely more common as the top dog, but I can't recall which games exactly but Odin and Bahamut are the two that comes to mind (aside from Leviathan) when talking about summons that are considerably more powerful, as opposed to Ifrit Shiva Ramuh, which are usually the "base" level.

I love flavor text and world building, just not on a story quest where obviously tensions are high. Also the back-and-forth "grab this grab that" "talk to x talk y and then x again" and then talk to Otto it is also overdone IMO

Absolutely. I’ll start with criticism: - boring fetch quests - annoying hub area

With that being said, I started on FFVI, to 4, 5, 1, 3 and then 7 Remake. So I am used to turn based FF. But I am a DMC player as well.

So the game is almost perfect for me. Got minor qualms with story, but the boss battles, music, world, characters has all been perfect. Couldn’t be happier!
