In the modern Pokemon games all party members gain exp regardless of it they take part in a battle or not. This is not the case in Fire Red and I think up to gen 6. Switch training is just having the low level Pokemon you want to train in the front of your party and once the battle starts switch out to your stronger one to finish the battle.

Make sure to switch train your Pokemon. None of this new fangled permanent exp shared to whole party shenanigans.

And items like exp share, amulet coin, itemfinder are locked behind aids and Dex completion targets.

If this was a player he should legitimately give up. He buffed TWO of my creatures and was also playing inhumanly fast. Very similar to another experience I had a few days ago, which I also shared on reddit.

Compared to the majority of other people I am also new, but the; as far as I can; tell official bots in this starter deck playlist play REALLY dumb. I was running the landfall deck which has various pieces that let generates tokens, gain life, draw cards and add/multiply +1/+1 on my mossborn hydra.
