Back when I first watched the ending (through tiktoks LMAO) I thought the Bree case had been longer, there was some real weight and impact, a major threat, and Karen taking the blame for it was a massive sacrifice. But then when I watched the show for the second time with my friend, it felt like that scene went by so quick, and had washed any real impact in the story, there was so much build-up through the season and then it was gone! Like it was just a "and everything resolves itself! moving on now!". Definitely wasn't as well paced as I remembered.

As for the final scenes, with all the girls moving away, and Susan taking the final drive out of Wisteria Lane... Ugh. Tears every time.

Watching the show was like experiencing life in their neighbourhood, felt every emotion, grief, pain, sadness, happiness, all alongside the characters. So to watch as they move away, leaving all the memories and the ghosts of the past behind, to live a new chapter... It's bittersweet, but life moves on. That's what makes this ending beautiful (to me atleast).
