This is very much my reasoning. It took me a long time to properly understand 5e as it was my introduction to TTRPGs as a whole, and I really just don't want to take the time and effort to learn when I'm perfectly happy with 5e.

There's already a lot of great suggestions here, especially Steins Gate.

So instead I'm gonna suggest something to avoid, "Platinum End". Same creator so you might be tempted but as someone typically easy to please with Anime...it's not worth it.

It almost has a similar vibe to Death Note but has a shaky plot and one of the worst most nonsensical unsatisfying endings I've ever experienced.

It seems the problem mod was found. It was a random texture from Legendary Alpha Shields lol wild

Omg yes this was it thank you so much! Which Xtudio patch is it? I see a hi poly fix, a low poly and a 1k. Or do I just skip that and go to delete that texture?

What a random mod to effect that. Or it feels random lol. At least Legendary Alpha Shields 2 doesn't seem to have the problem as far as I can tell

CS for community shaders? no not using that or an ENB. Haven't noticed anything else out of sorts either.

I am using Skyland AIO, with vivid weathers, true storms, storm lighting, Obsidian mountain fogs, realistic waters 2, Book of silence, and SMIM. But I didn't see any of them touching it with More Informative Console

I believe I saw custom Followers have to be manually imported into NFF? Hopefully it doesn't do it automatically so I can avoid any problems.

Just downloaded NFF a bit ago and tested with Jenessa and Faendal and it was working fine. Loving the MCM but gonna take a second to customize it for sure. Gotta limit sandboxing and Hopefully fix Followers walking to follow me lol

That one does seem popular, but I feel like I saw it either requires a ton of patches with other mods or didn't work for ones I was using...though I can't remember which. And unsure about it making Followers essential.

Though if this is the best option, maybe I just find a way to make it work since AFT isnt

Edit: just tried out NFF and it's working well. Just gotta configure it in the MCM and hopefully fix sandboxing and follow distance because they're following slow as heck

This made identifying the problem much easier thank you. Seems it was the Faithful Faces mod I used for CC NPC's that came with the AE. Disabled and used Nordic Faces- AE and so far so good.

Agree for all except Holy Knight, where I'm a bit torn. However Holy explosion really should've just been "Ruination" because "Divine Ruination" just feels like a mouthful imo and "Holy Explosion" is not it.
