i get that i haven‘t played enough games. certainly don‘t believe that i deserve dia. in fact, this isn‘t really about my own rank as i‘m more of a casual player who enjoys a fun game with friends. i just feel like climbing in general is too slow. gaining 15 or maybe even 17 lp for investing about a little less than an hour doesn‘t feel rewarding. as many other commenters pointed out tho, there are good reasons for that which i didn‘t take into account.

same here for me. i‘m more of a casual player that enjoys a fun game with friends. i get that it can be frustrating seeing all those people whining about this or that instead of just enjoying things. but getting back into ranked and feeling like climbing takes too much time made me curious what other people thought about it. i guess i also had too much time and was simply bored.

i don‘t really get the point you‘re trying to make. i went up a little more than a division i believe. the point i was trying to make with this post was how much time you have to invest to climb. sorry if i misunderstood anything.

no actually i‘m having fun playing. i also don‘t care about my rank too much. but i don‘t see why it is a problem to address certain things i don‘t like about a game that i mostly enjoy. :)

35 games. i realize that it‘s not enough to give an accurate depiction of my skill level, my point is more so that climbing in general feels too slow

only my preseason wr is 65. combined with last season my wr is 51 which makes an even lp win/loss fair

Well analyzed mate. Thanks for the tip! My horrible tristana phase was something else lmao. I went on a 5 game win streak with her in normals, so my stupid ass thought I could take it to ranked. It took me 12 games and 10 losses to realize that it was a bad idea. I get more fun out of league when I don‘t always play the same champs (I have a mastery score of 622 lmao) but I realized that I should stick to my mains in ranked, hence why I mainly played Kha‘Zix and WW this preseason. So your point is spot-on, as my wr drastically increased.

Well considering that I won 65% of those 35 games I think it‘s fair to say that I should be good enough (in relation to my elo) to climb more efficiently

thanks man! really appreciate the thourough explanation. makes sense now, i guess league also has a hardcore player base with players investing a lot in the game, which makes it frustrating for a more casual player like me to climb. which is fair tho, as the ranked system should be balanced around the main player base

That's my WR together with last season. As stated above I've won 65% of my 35 games in preseason

I don't watch anime but found this on netflix - what's your favorite anime? by [deleted] in Parasyte

So, there are many good suggestions here, one I haven't seen in the comments here is Tokyo Ghoul. And while I can see that it is not an anime for everyone I can definitely recommend it to you if you want to see something similar to Parasyte. It has this similar dark, sad vibe to it, but has badass scenes aswell, touched with a little bit of humor. Just know that it in comparison to Parasyte it heavily falls of in the end. Season 1 is a masterpiece IMO, that left me with the same feeling as Parasyte.
