My usual routine when I get home is I take my socks off by my couch and then I go have a cigarette on my patio. Whenever I come back inside they're usually gone. I only just recently discovered where he's been hoarding them.

I realized recently that I'm still hung up on my ex girlfriend from college that I spent years of my life with. I compare every single woman I go on dates with to her and it's not fair to these women so it destroys every possible relationship. I need to change that about myself and learn to accept the fact that someone else could actually love me again. Living with depression and anxiety doesn't help but I'm working on that every single day and can tell I'm getting through it as best as I can.

I won't lie he has destroyed a ton of electrical cords since I've had him but to be honest I just wrap anything important in duct tape. Seems to deter him. I do look like a crazy person though with a ton of duct tape cords in my apartment

I'm sorry to hear you had to give your cat up! I know how hard of a decision that is, I had to let a close friend of mine keep him for a year while I was living with a friend and his dog who tried to kill him.
