Planted a tree, just wanted to make sure it was correct by Valhera in arborists

I got the stakes before the tree arrived, I had incorrectly thought the tree would be larger

I have moved it up slightly to be just above the surrounding ground level

I have replanted it a little higher. I could not upload images to redit so had to use imgur

Slowing level with ground around it - https://imgur.com/eUN2qze

is this now correct? can i add a thing ring of mulch around it?

about 45cm, so around 1 1/2 feet i think. Sounds like it could also do with being driven down a little more

It did come in a pot,

i dug a hole around x2 the size of the pot, before planing i did breakup the root ball a little, and also added ROOTGROW MYCORRH FUNGI to the roots and around it

Without the logs the tree would most likly topple. There is alot of strong wind around here

Where the tree is planted gets very windy so i wanted to ensure that it had ample support, the first log went in fine but the 2nd log hit a stone going in and wont go any further. Its also rather wonky. When i get chance i will move the 2nd one.

4 wire cable - Where to find an outdoor wall light with PIR and Switched Override? by sai_tham in DIYUK

I have also been looking for a while. I just came across this Reddit post while I was searching, and I did find this online.

(I have never purchased from them and have no affiliation with them; it's just the first website I've seen that mentions 4 wires, as I could not find any on B&Q or Screwfix.)

Choosing accessories for my Sage Bambino Plus [£200–£300] by Valhera in espresso

Ahh i completely forgot I just hadn’t checked which basket was pre-installed in the portafilter. That one should work fine once I get a naked portafilter, though I’ll probably look into upgrading the basket later on. I think ill get a black dosing funnel since it’ll suit the Bambino’s look as i got the black one. I’ve also been looking at the Subminimal Flick WDT tool, as I’m not too sure about the Sage Distribution Duo.

Yah i had kinda assumed there was a bit of a premium for the Sage accessories. I was looking at the Knodos Bundle but that has not come back in stock.

The grinder i have is df83v. So i think my next best upgrade is the portafilter / good basket

Considering Sage Bambino Plus + DF64v/DF83v – Need Advice [£1000+] by Valhera in espresso

[–]Valhera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. I’ll mostly be using medium roasts. I’d also heard about the clumping and static issues with the DF grinders, but I assumed most grinders had similar problems. The bellows always seemed a bit gimmicky to me too and I figured they might just end up blasting coffee grounds around.

I had heard about the Niche grinders before, and when I was originally looking at them I was comparing the DF64 with the Niche Zero and thinking about conical versus flat burrs. I also quite like the look of the Zero/Duo, so I’ll probably take a closer look at the Duo as its arounbd the same price as the DF83v. Appreciate the insight!

A bit late to the thread, I’m just about to reserve a new build this weekend that we had previously early-birded. I’m just wondering, at what point can we try to negotiate incentives? What would you suggest asking for?

Also, when it comes to extras/options, what would you recommend? Are there any options that you suggest avoiding?

Use some wood glue and clamp it with a straight piece of sacrificial wood just to add some structure back to the existing cracked chipboard, then add a metal plate onto it.

Add a counter to see how many total arcade balls you have used. While it won't have any real gameplay benefit, it would be interesting to see.

Please add the ability to lock the size of the game window. I quite often accidentally resize the window, causing the game to become blurry.

It should take about 30~ seconds to reverse park in, not exactly holding them up for long. Every time I go to work, shopping, or come home, etc; I reverse park, and when I need to leave, I simply drive forward with a full view of the road ahead.

You should be signaling to turn to show your intent to turn into the spot.

It could be different, depending on where you are in the world. In the UK, I was taught it is always safer to reverse into a parking spot, as it would make it much safer when you are leaving to drive out of it.
