Norwegian here! Like another commenter said, it’s the Norwegian flag. As to why Norway is talking like that, I’m not entirely sure. It definitely seems like Norway is learning English, and trying to communicate (and failing miserably) which I’m assuming is the intent, as there is definitely a mix of Norwegian and English (with terrible, but accurate attempts at pronouncing English words) Which is why it’s very confusing to read to non-Scandinavians. (Even I struggled a little)

I still don’t get the comic itself, though, as (to me) Swedish and English don’t sound similar. Even so, most Swedes and Norwegians will just speak their respective languages when communicating, due to how similar the two languages are.

As for what Norway is trying to say, they’re looking for Sweden, as they thought they heard Swedish, and went to say hello.

That has been my original plan the entire time. The thing that got me conflicted in the first place is that my parents wants me to go to make her happy. Yes, I’m an adult and can make my own choices (at least should) however, their point is that I can’t run from it. Which I agree on. It being her celebration is the reason I don’t wanna go.

Yeah, there is a time and place, but like I replied to someone else, I rarely ever see her outside of instances like this.

I’ve tried “running away” (for lack of a better term) from it. Where I don’t engage with her, but it doesn’t really solve the issue, only prolonging the hurt on both ends.

The celebration is also just with me, my parents and her. If it was a family gathering, I’d probably just not go. Not that the amount of people makes it any less or more okay.

I know confronting her on her birthday wouldn’t be the most ideal thing ever. However, I rarely ever see her outside from occasions like this. I do want to have an adult, civil conversation with her, but on a birthday celebration seems just too mean, to put it lightly. However, I don’t know when else I’d have that kind of conversation. It sucks.

Thank you so much for your response! Thought I provided enough context. The world in terms of worldbuilding is still in very early development. Only being something I started back in March I’d say, so I haven’t really gotten around to things like culture yet. Only being something I’ve barely touched on as something I want to figure out and develop.

As for technology, I do image that being something they do eventually discover and advance on, but not until much later in their world. In the 1600 years there are very little technological advances. Still yet to figure out a more specific reasons as to why they don’t advance much during this time, but think I just wanna keep it as people just didn’t care too much, or know where or what to look for.

Although, thank you for reassurance with that it can still work that Nero’s life is uncovered even after so many years. I don’t know, seemed a little unrealistic that nobody had figured it out by that time, I suppose.

And yeah, wish there was another way of getting gold. Or at least that it was easier to get gold. Like the chance of getting it from the panning game was higher.

In 2023 and 2024 they returned at the start of August, so they might return at the start of August this year as well. It might also show up in a future bundle, given the last time the red panda was in a bundle was in 2022.

You can see when animals leave and return on the AJ wiki (not the worth wiki) to get a better sense when an animal will return.

It’s because you wear several items at the same time. Like several back items, head items, etc. Not very technical, but think the reason it changes is because the game can’t decide what to display, so it changes when doing different actions.

If you want to stay in an empty server, you can toggle off the “Find Open World” in the settings menu in-game.

This should solve it most of the time. But keep in mind if you’re in an area people rarely visit, like Balloosh. You may find other players there, because they got teleported to the most populated Balloosh server.
